No, you aren't crazy. That's either guhzcoituz, or someone using their morphs and textures. They are mostly regurgitated anyway.
Disney and WB weren't listening, but Paramount was.
Does anyone know if NathanPrescott and the like plan to sell their works elsewhere? His in particular were some of the best around, next to Sonne imo. It'd be terrible for everyone if they were to just stop because of Renderhub's BS.
I don't think of RenderHub's banning recently as 'BS', it's more an act of self preservation. As the large media companies flex their considerable muscles at AI scraping, it might not be long until they also hit the little guys. RenderHub would fold like a cheap hooker who got hit in the stomach by a fat guy with sores on his face if Disney sicced their lawyers on them.
Irrelevant, but that weirdly specific analogy is something I often fantasize about on lonely nights.
I'm the cheap hooker, and my navel is kind of a "sweet spot".

Couple of those effected have confirmed Renderhub accounts deleted without any warning.
NathanPrescott said he is moving everything to FoRender, BlopBlopFish started a Patreon, and Guhzcoituz is now on Gumroad.
Deleting an account for any reason without an explanation is kinda shitty and not professional at all.
Expect it to become the norm. I bet some are these platforms are now demanding vendors provide I'D if they want to continue selling.

I can see that. RenderHub seems to play it pretty loose by letting anyone sell anything. I bought a few pieces of very nice furniture from two vendors there even though I was sure it was the same person. I asked a few questions and got either no answer or a short cryptic one indicating that they didn't care or didn't speak English well. I recently did some searches and found that every one of their items was available in a variety of 3D pirate sites. I assume that he is grabbing these items, changing them to Studio format then selling them (cheap!) on RenderHub. I mentioned this to a mod there but he gave me the old song-n-dance about how they can't/won't do anything unless the actual owner sends them a DMCA takedown notice. I can see their point, but with the way that intellectual property owners are becoming more active (due to AI scraping?) lately, I would think that RenderHub would get a lot more proactive and check the obvious stuff.guhzcoituz still selling his products here: https://renderopedia.com/vendor/guhzcoituz/

Well, the skin they use is using the typical Guhcoituz's characters skin, but the new vendor only sell the morph, and not the character skin, so, it's still hard to decide if the new vendor is actually guhcoituz themselves
Another point with RenderHub that's starting to grate with me is the (seemingly) increasing number of people taking offense at everything and demanding that it be removed, the seller banned, and everyone who defends the post or item be sent to jail. I wonder if people from that evangelical religious group in Australia are trying to 'clean up' the site. I haven't posted anything in their forums for some time. It feels like it's an ever dwindling number of posters pounding at the same drum.
Discord and this place in comparison, are a whole lot saner.
Keep it up!I guess the both the vendors and Hub are going to grab the cash before it all comes tumbling down when CBDC'S are introduced. Yes, web scraping is a huge part of this internet dragnet we're seeing, before that the lawyers were everywhere. Now they are back..:/
