Should I be able to have a fully loaded and gassed up tank in my back yard? ... No
Should I have the ability to have a gun on my person to protect myself? ... Yes
Should "the people" be able to defend themselves against the government? ...Yes

I'm not sure what country most of you are from and I'm not sure of the laws but a search for the worst human rights violations turned up a few I hear often.

North Korea
China
Nigeria

Do you think the "normal" people in these countries would allow themselves to be bullied to point of death by the government if they were armed?

If I hear a bump in the night, I don't call the police. The average response time here is 20-40 minutes. Rather that reach for a phone I grab a Pistol. ATM my shotgun is unloaded and may stay so for a while since I've acquired a child recently. Based off recent events I can't guarantee they will even enter the house without multiple backups.

The recent issues with covid and war just fuel the fires of politicians looking to grab power.
The few want to control the many and every small law lets them get just a little closer to that goal. I may not be totally free but what I have I intend to try and keep.

I use to eat lunch with a group of "gun guys" at least twice a week. One was an active cop who usually was on break while on duty. It was very interesting how I saw him respond to calls over the radio. Once he was called to a shooting in a bad section of the city. He slowly got ready to go and finished part of his meal. He said something similar to this. " Let them shoot it out for awhile and get tired" I forget the exact words.

Doesn't really matter since we don't have the ability to stop everything.

What will happen is the US will retaliate and I am sure most of those nukes will also hit targets. The major powers will be gone and mostly unhabitable for several years. Radiation clouds may contaminate other countries. High level politicians will survive to rule over nothing.

Countries away from the major targets will mostly be ok but with the destruction of oil and food trade some countries provide it will be difficult. Many will probably die from eating contaminated fish unless they set up some sort of radiation checking on food.

Maybe after 5 years it will calm down and then the slow death will happen to those that somehow came in contact with too much radiation. Thousands will be born with birth defects. And to think it was the cause of just a guy wanting some more dirt for his country.

if we did get invaded by anyone though because we have right to bare arms we would have a civillian army bigger and almost better equipped than our actual military. i bet american civillians shoot better than russian military. but seriously i do hope russia is defeated cuz who knows if putin gonna stop there and after ukraine its pretty much nato minus finland and sweden. but they so close in proximity and alot smaller than ukraine i think either way we gonna end up in the war. and thank you ADAM for the video. whos to say north korea and china dont jump on the russian bandwagon and launch there nukes also . but seriously im not worried about the intercontinental missile so far away. im worried about the submarine launched ones that most likely are off our coast. i live in cali close to los angeles so if i had to get away im screwed the freeways are jam packed on a regular day imagine if some kind of emergency broadcast went off and people started fleeing the only option would be underground but in cali no one has basements. lol i would just get on my roof and witness the blast and be gone just like that. game over......
