The internet is kind of a shitty place to have an argument anyway. There's no sense of tone or inflection. Something that can be meant in a humorous smart ass way can be taken as a genuine attack.
Pro tip: Try reading something you're posting in a different tone of voice than what's in your head. If it sounds mean, someone's going to take it that way. Everyone be cool to each other.
February 23, 2018 at 2:33 AM #505619@Tomsk, I've hit the nail on the head regarding you and am humbled by your thoughtfulness and ability to refrain from judgement. If you ever run for president, you not only have my vote but my support as well. Thank you. You @Tomsk are a True Artist. It is obvious by your choice of words and self-control. I also suffer neurological disorders directly related to my Military Service and choosing my country over my self. @d0gg0d and/or @Adam I do apologize if my requests tend to get long-winded(albeit not as generous with points as some). It's just how I communicate.
If I'm not as direct as you, it is because I choose to go around my migraines than cut through them. Either way I tell my migraines, "come on, let's do this..."
One thing I am is honest. I use my actual name. I may use Davey and Goliath as my icon. But I admire the work of Art Clokey. If you are offended by them, I'll keep it simple and use Gumby instead. Remember this: This is not a site but a zone. The restrictions - if you need them - are in place. This zone about Art. GFX to be precise. Not Renaissance, nor baroque, nor Bohemian. Definitely neither theatrical nor drama. It's about characters and what you can make of them. At the very least; it's about character. Even if that character is you, your character or your lack thereof. @LocoLolo I read the DSM when I was hospitalized because they could not tell me how I acquired my injuries. It was so secret that even my neurologist wasn't privileged with the clearance. I had to figure out what I didn't have, in the same way I found out what Art isn't.To quote another talented Graphic Artist, "Calculatus-Eliminatus." I also found out what mental disorders and disabilities aren't. If you don't understand what I mean, then you need only to looking in a mirror.February 23, 2018 at 3:04 AM #505646Anonymous

@arthurgarcia @locololo
There's no need to thank me!
I can relate with both of you regarding Mental Illness havng been down that road myself.
There is always light at the end of the tunnel. My naturally diplomatic nature drives my friends crazy, especially when they try to argue a point, I always remain neutral and try to see both sides which annoys them no end 🙂
I tip my hat to anyone who chooses to serve their country in any capacity, especially those who have suffered because of it, they are the true heroes in my opinion!
Regarding running for president... I'm from the UK so I do not think it would be allowed hehe, but thanks for the vote of confidence and support!
February 23, 2018 at 3:10 AM #505654Actually Davey and Goliath are cool. Gumby is cool also. So its a win win either way.
IF they are out there in Daz / Poser format, lemme know. 😉
I have a page of stuff a Psychiatrist could probably have me committed for but, disrespect normally isn't one of them.
Watch Jacobs Ladder if you havent seen it already. Its Very odd BUT if you're prone to flashbacks Id pass.
February 23, 2018 at 3:32 AM #505672@d0gg0d I fucking love Jacobs Ladder! It's so eloquently fucked up that it almost wants you to question your own reality. Such a great performance from Tim Robbins too. It's such a great film, but have you seen Videodrome? Naked Lunch? Brazil? Secret Window? I do love a good fucked up film.
February 23, 2018 at 3:47 AM #505683@d0gg0d I am sure someone with some form of social disability, autism whatever, I am no expert by a long shot, can probably master quantum physics or Daz3D and still have the social ability and tact of a 2 year old. 😉
@locololo sorry to hear about your troubled times, which is exactly what I mean by us not knowing someone's circumstances.I have wanted to bite people's head off more times than I can recall but found in the end it's better to "kill them with kindness" 😛 If nothing else being nice puts you in a better mood than being angry does.
I do hope that as a community where the vast majority of members is helpful, thankful and kind we can pick up the slack of one or two who don't. From where I stand you are all pretty awesome 🙂 (For dirty pirates anyway 😛 *runs and hides*)
February 23, 2018 at 4:12 AM #505696Ive seen Brazil but its been a loooong time. Ive not seen the others.
Any movie that make me go Hmmm is a must watch for me and almost any odd movie.
"Society" was along the same lines of these films. I remember "Pans Labyrinth" being interesting also and having one of the most unexpected scenes of pure brutality I've ever witnessed. I know there's several others I can list but, ATM my videos are hard to get to and my memory sux. I will say that "Tokyo Gore Police" where a girls private parts turns into an alligator mouth remains one of the few scenes I'll not forget. (but not a good movie IMHO).
I'll will say that not in the same category but, "Ex Machina" and "Moon" are among my favorite newer scifi movies. "Dagon" and "Mouth of Madness" for HP Lovecraft fans.
"Orphanage" if you like Spanish ghost movies.I may make a list of recommends one day.
February 23, 2018 at 4:23 AM #505706See? That's EXACTLY what I'm talking about. What was that they used to tell us in Art Therapy, @arthurgarcia ? One thing Art isn't - judgmental. It may make a statement or choose not to make a statement. But it doesn't judge. If anyone judges it is either the critic, the art lover/hater or even the Artist. So take caution when being judgmental. when you choose to judge, be ready to be mental. @Tomsk, you really are awesome and you have a better chance of being an American President than I do. All our presidents since George Washington have been related to British Royalty. BridgeAnne d’Avignon proved that when she was 12 years old. Every one of them related to John “Lackland" Plantagenet - the phony king of England as depicted in Disney's Robin Hood. The real heir to the throne died intestate in Australia in 2012; Michael Abney-Hastings. Well, for what it's worth, you have my vote of confidence for Parliament. @vegaso Thank you. That's what I would like to be able to do. @arthurgarcia is a good example of killing with kindness. But I've met his wife as well - Femme Fatale Extraordinare! she would have people in tears thanking her as she would utterly annihilated them to rubble. I can see why he deals with his illness better than I do. I tend to take things personal - when they are or not.
Good Night All.February 23, 2018 at 4:27 AM #505708@Vega Soleil
While I'll have to agree, I do not feel this is the case. I've been wrong before.
February 23, 2018 at 4:42 AM #505719actually i am autistic and having problems with communications thats why im not always post on forums or anykind of communication, to hard for me to explain somethings.
i use daz3d to take my mind off the grid sort of speaking as my head hearts from all the information that comes to me.
but still hope to be welcome to post my images or deal with what i got.
February 23, 2018 at 5:48 AM #505759Lol. @Tomsk, MP. Sounds good to me as well. @Locololo I will let her know what you called her. You know good and well Shrimp Fried Rice is your weakness. But I think you already knew that so do expect much.
@Vegaso gets it. @Soeperman I'm just waiting for the VA to legalize hemp-therapy.
Perhaps my renders could do the inhaling for me.DISCLAIMER - HIDDEN EASTER EGG REQUEST SO NO POINTS OFFERED:

Besides, it doesn't look like any marijuana joint thingy I've ever seen...If I ever leave this country it will be because I can no longer stand the pain and won't wait for the politics over marijuana. @d0gg0d I will change my profile this weekend - thanks for the encouragement and the mention of Jacob's Ladder. @evilmonkey you have inspired me to seek that movie out as well. Thank you both. I keep forgetting that this is a Zone for Art. Tim Robbins is quite talented. Shawshank Redemption, Hudsucker Proxy, Erik The Viking, Cadillac Man, I.Q. Nothing to Lose?
Oh, he is quite a talented actor indeed. I don't know how I missed Jacob's Ladder.Good night @Locololo. sweet dreams of Shrimp Fried Rice. Just imagine it is in that covered dish third one down on left on this link:

Lol you guys crack me up 😀
February 23, 2018 at 2:08 PM #506168@Soeperman and anyone with some sort of "disability" (I don't like that term), you're all fine with me. I've known people with no diagnosed issues that are total arseholes and I've even been friends with some of them. Just because you have social difficulties, which we all have to a degree, doesn't mean you should miss out. I've got friends who are "on the spectrum" and a little understanding can help form a buffer for social interactions.
February 23, 2018 at 4:21 PM #506292Everyone is crazy accept me.
February 24, 2018 at 5:58 PM #507645Not to pour gas on the fire but I have seen some requests of late that are demanding people buy items and share them. That is the exact opposite way to get people to share files. Maybe try asking nicely and offering points always helps.
