I don't know if people are checking regularly Daz Store for new release, but just a few day ago, Daz released this new girl for Genesis 8 called "Katy". She is a stand alone G8F character.

Now, i don't know what your opinion on her, but personnally, i think she is a far more "look alike" to what Girl 6/Girl 4 was/used to be than what they currently did with Girl 8. And i'm not saying that just because they used a theme "Lara Croft" costume in her main promo. (Although it was clear this character is very well done for that type of costume.)
In my mind, Katy is a perfect mix of the attribute and curves of Girl 4 and Girl 6, but updated with the technology and the polishing of the Genesis 8's generation.
A well althetic/toned yet svelt and slender girl with quite a lot of curves and shape to where it's count. She still has that very small tooned face but not as prononced has what they did with Girl 8. Which make her, again to my opinion, a perfect and great semi-realist character.
I'll more than definatly looking to her comming to the Zone here...if...she get posted here.
I know a lot of you are not into those "tooned" character, but maybe since she's not showing that much tooned trait, she'll interest some of you. What are you people opinion on her ?
If you got The Girl 8 i don't see the point on getting Katy.
Just apply The Girl 8 to Genesis 8 and it open's up thousands of options
with morphsthis is a quick The Girl 8 same kind of pose ish as katy
@goodlooker while I agree that morphs can do a lot, having a ready character with good proportions, nice features etc. is often preferred. While your render portrays the same look, the features of the character are pretty far from the Katy offering. I'm not saying one couldn't make Katy with morphs, I'm just saying the Katy-character seems to be quite well designed, and might fit a lot of people's want for a proper "Girl 8" character. (Still cartoony, but not quite as cartoony as the Girl-series)
I'm with @Errilhl here. While your pose and morphs on your Girl 8 @goodlooker is really good and quite lookalike, (Nice work really!!) getting a base character as close as what you are looking for before having to turn toward morphs is always more pleasant. (And a lot of less work!)

It might also just be a guess, since i've yet have to test her side by side with the Girl 8, but by looking at the promo picture, i kinda feel Katy is a bit taller and her bust and hips/thigh are a bit bigger than the Girl 8. ( Mostly due to her frame being less on the "petite" side like Girl 8 is i think. )
The less you have to push morphs to their limit, the best it is. I believe....
P.S: Also, i'm sorry guys, i tried to host and link a picture of her promo in the original post, but couldn't made it work.
