Anyone got Marvelous Designer 7 Personal to work with the suggested patch/crack provided in this post?

I definitely can't. I even disconnected my network cable just to make sure it wasn't my firewall settings... Nope. This thing keeps asking me for a username/password to activate...
October 1, 2017 at 3:25 AM #348604I was having problems with it but for some reason, you have to block the in and outbound in your firewall instead of just the outbound like most programs. I forget to do the inbound.
October 1, 2017 at 4:23 AM #348625This.
Definitely ALWAYS block both inbound and outbound, and be sure to double-check that the behavior setting is BLOCK and not Connect!October 1, 2017 at 4:39 AM #348630Yeah, both inbound and outbound are blocked in my firewall rules, and I merged the reg file. Don't know why it doesn't work for me! 🙁
October 1, 2017 at 5:55 AM #348656Ok. Now it works. I didn't realize that AVG took over my firewall. I don't know if I agreed to this, I don't remember and usually I don't use anything else than the basic anti-virus component. My guess is they did that when I upgraded last time. These fuckers are sneaky as hell... So... Maybe they never asked if I wanted that. But yeah, that was the problem. I completely uninstalled AVG, and will see if I install it again, or something else less intrusive...
October 1, 2017 at 1:40 PM #348952That's fine if it works for you... but IMHO a little overkill and not really possible for most. I do everything on my main gear: dev, renders, games and of course all the "net" things (email, web browsing, etc.). Not being able to access network resources and the "net" would be a show stopper for me.
Again IMHO, you're relatively safe with an anti-virus, anti-malware and firewall... Of course, it uses some resources on the pc, but it's marginal.
October 9, 2017 at 9:19 PM #357398Goin to try this as soon as I get a chance, but do you have to keep the computer off line the whole time you use it? I definitely can't have network off all the time, but if I'm working turning it off is one thing.
Also if I end up making something, assuming I can, is it possible to market the items, or will people be able to tell it was made with this program (and therefore not legit without a license).
(Not that I wouldn't upload them here:)
October 10, 2017 at 11:02 PM #358417If you did connect to the internet and opened the app you must patch the registry again, simply disabling the internet or blocking the app in the firewall won't quite complete the install me thinks.
