    Greetings,
    There is a mirror "hack" where the reflection of the background in the mirror can be changed/neutralized. Can anyone point me in the direction of this workaround?
    Thanks in advance.

    In case you are using an HDRI light, go to render settings/editor, and in the environment options uncheck 'draw dome' and 'draw ground'

    Ive rendered a scene twice. first was a young woman then second an old woman. I wanted her looking in the mirror at her old self.

    Thanks for the replies, very appreciated, but it's not what I was looking for. What I am looking for NOW, is an old scene I made/saved, to be able to clairfy the issue, with a screen shot or 2.
    I'll be back (!)

    Hey!
    I would change the "mirror" part to a simple glossy surface and cover it with whatever I want it to show. And use the thin film to create the glass effect.

    But I can't test it myself on the street right now, sorry.

    I think I know what you're shooting for. You could try doing a composite...or try using the Camera Magic product. There may be a way using that product to get the results you're looking for.

    Camera Magic 1.2

    Camera Magic Plus - Shape Add-On

    Camera Magic Plus – Pose Add-on

    @Funny24 Also a plausible option - Thanks.

    It might be what I'm looking for, leaving out spots/light (in the mirror) in a scene, looking forward to try it. Thank You.
