On telegram, there is a channel where you can specify paid Sketchfab models. Within a few hours you can download the model. The links do lead you to mailware, but if you use uBlock Orgins you will be bothered by. They are ultimately mediafire downloads.
I have already applied for several models myself (>300 euros) and have been able to download them. You get an fbx (sometimes it also contains animations) and a gltf and a folder with textures. Here are some examples.

Virus scanner gives a notification. The new links do work. The models I downloaded I checked with bitdefender and were clean.
This is interesting. There's a few I'm looking at that might be fun to play with. I noticed that many models come in a variety of formats including .blend and 3DSMax. Are these formates included or do you only get the .fbx file?
Thanks!Only a fbx and gltf. I've loaded both formats into Blender and the textures work too. I tested the animations with 3dxchanges (reallusion).
I gave that Telegram a whirl and almost immediately deleted it. As soon as it asked for a phone number I went into red alert. Temporary numbers didn't work so I deleted it. These clowns are hiding something or have some nefarious purpose here, same with the person hacking Sketchfab.
