I have ordered a 60" curved Odyssee G9, but canceled it after a talk with a friend. He said it was nice for gamming, but wasn't impressed otherwise.
So bought a 43" Oled TV, put it on the desktop. Had to "extend" my desk, for the distance was not big enough. I am well pleased with this setup. Lots of space 😉

@Gaver my problem is my desk size as well I already have a 32 inch monitor on one side and a 27 inch on the other (next to each other) with a 34 inch smart tv just above them(wall mounted) so I want to replace the 27 with another 32 and this time I'm considering a 32 curved monitor or a smart tv capable of playing mp4s via usb.
P.S My 34" smart tv isn't so smart it won't play mp4's it's more like a dumb Hisense Roku tv. - lol 😛

    @ItsMeNotYou
You still not have enough workspace with that setup, yo never will LOL
I would go to a physical store and talk to a salesperson who knows his shit.
    There are so many options.....

IMO, unless for gaming/movies, trying to work with a flat 2D image on a curved monitor is asking for problems. The edges of the screen are further from your eyes than the center of the screen and this can make an image look distorted, even if it isn't.
I'm old (I'm just a poor old man, my legs are grey, my ears are gnarled, my eyes are old and bent) but I'm not a luddite and love new stuff, but only if it works better than what came before it.

I'm using this one: Asus TUF Gaming VG32VQR. And I love it. But mainly for its 165Hz refresh rate. Even moving apps in Windows is better with it ^^

I know exactly where you are coming from, and you have painted a vibrant word picture there.
I suppose that is enhanced by your recent text to AI experiences.

    🙂

I considered a curved too, but didn't go through with it .. did a try out at a friend's and for 3Dwork it's no good at all .. just games and movies...

    my setup is 3x 23inch flatscreens.. / ---\
the middle one is entirely DAZviewport/poserscene (nothing else) , left and right are the panels-dials/libraries .

From what I've seen at my friends on the curved, I don't think any curved can give more workspace (or quality whithout distortion) than this (not even a stretched flat widescreen) ... (and cheapest setup also 😀 )

I went with another 32" smart tv again , the only problem is that both are Roku smart tv's so when I use one of the remotes it interferes with both tv's.

Late to the discussion but I had 3 27" curved 1440p monitors and I miss them terribly. Had then set up in an arc to match the screen curve and like Williamvvv I had then set up like that. One died so I got a 34 inch LG curved 3440x1440. Then a second of my 27 inch and then the 3rd died. Never buy Viotek, they die within 3 years. When I can I plan to buy two more of these LG. I use an 86.6" long by 47.2 inch wide desk so it's easy to stick the center monitor at the right distance with the curvature of the monitor and when I get the other two and angle will be good as well. I was looking at the G9 oled but it's just too expensive compared to the price for what you get.

I have a Philips 42 inch screen that is curved since a few years. It is curved but not much. I am no expert but I think that if it was part of a circle, the circle would probably be 50-100 meter in diameter or so.

I bought it precisely because it was curved (and big) but I can't say if it really makes any difference....
