Just upgraded, about to downgrade again... my render times nearly doubled since I put in the upgrade this morning.
Going to update the video drivers just in case, but yuck.
Anyone else seeing this issue?
Performance for me has been much better. Not sure how much faster, but updating drivers is recommended. I did that around the same time I updated to 4.22
I updated the drivers, and it helped a lot in most cases. It also helped that I recently bought and installed a much larger PCIe drive, and shifted all the DS files to it.
Some scenes/files are a bit of a crap-shoot though, though those are mostly the real gargantuan/complex ones.
I'll mess with it some more...
This new version is a disaster for me. I was using Nvidia drivers 536.67 since the latest ones caused issues. So I updated DAZ and my drivers... instant regret. Some scenes don't render anymore, DAZ crashes, etc. How in hell could they break it so bad is beyond me.
Anyone knows how to go back to the DAZ Studio's old version? I won't even try to fix this mess...

Hmm filecr is quite reputable and the file was clean during VT scan. If you're looking to download from reputable sources, you can search here. These sites are all verified by the community so chances of malware/virus is pretty low, but still would advice caution.
