Do someone knows if there are correction morphs for such folds (G8F)?
December 2, 2022 at 9:16 PM #1896736This is a result of the pelvis or abdomen being bent past limits. I don't think there's a way to correct that. Excessively bending any part of any model causes deformation.
December 2, 2022 at 10:00 PM #1896748Frank is probably right. But try to restore Rigging for this figure.
Select figure, then:
Edit > Figure > Restore > Restore Figure RiggingThere's also an excellent morph pack to get more realistic bends.
Ultimate Natural Bend Morphs for Genesis 8 and 8.1 Female 2.0
But I think that in this case, it certainly does not help.)December 3, 2022 at 2:31 AM #1896812The bends are all legit (no limits are turned off). I'll try the rigging advice although I doubt it will help. For the Ultimate natural bend morphs if I remember correctly they are about "natural" bending of the joints itself. There was a pack with "natural looking" correction morphs when bending down, but they were only for very fat models.
December 3, 2022 at 7:42 AM #1896868I've noticed that some character's FBMs make bending problems much worse than the base G8F. Judging from your picture, I don't think there's any way to correct such an hideous deformation like that. Personally I'd just try to re-bend the lower/upper abdomen/pelvis so it's not so obvious, or hide it behind something or from camera view. Or accept the fact that 3D characters have far greater limitations than real people.
December 3, 2022 at 9:54 AM #1896899Yes,I know. I just made this deformation very extreme just for the example. But even smaller deformations often look hideous on the renders because the "skin" folds in a very unnatural way.
December 3, 2022 at 10:02 AM #1896901Of course, this does not solve the problem at the root, but using Mesh Grabber you can try to smooth it out.
December 3, 2022 at 4:15 PM #1897013I tried Edit > Figure > Restore > Restore Figure Rigging and it actually helped to reduce the folds around the thighs. Quite a nice improvement for my work:-)
But must not forget to reuse the trick again if you return the same figure in another scene with more "normal" pose.

Nice call. I know about that function but I never would have thought about it in the moment.
December 3, 2022 at 11:27 PM #1897152Don't expect wonders, It did nothing to the example above; just made the fold between the thighs and the tummy more... smooth... they didn't look anymore like a folded piece of paper,
