Hi. For the last few days my Daz Studio went full ***** and started rendering canvases in separate folders without me enabling anything at all. I went and disabled it in the render settings, but it keeps rendering them anyway. What is happening? 🙂 Can anyone tell me because I am about to pull my hair out.

Sorry but the only way I would solve the problem it to delete the DAZ program and reinstall.
For me thats usually a fast an easy fix if things start to go funky.

@d0gg0d have you had that same issue? It started happening out of nowhere... for no reason.

Not that issue but I've had issues where it started acting buggy. Its been awhile and I cant remember the exact issues but it hasn't happened often. I seem to recall reinstalling twice over several years because I couldn't figure out what was going on. I just DLed a fresh copy, reinstalled and everything was normal. It installs so quick it isn't much of a hassle.
I've done the same for Genesis. She was acting up and I just wrote over her and she went back to normal. It just saves what I have left of my fragile mind.

Had you used some kind of render preset script? Because the canvas output settings are on the Advanced tab in render settings, and are largely ignored or unknown to most users who have no use for specialized output. A preset script could conceivably wonk up your settings...

@amberkat I think that might have been the issue. And since I re-use the same scene settings multiple times I thought it kept re-enabling.
