Am I the only one experiencing problems with Daz 4.12? I have this weird issue with some figures, when I move them around or rotate them, they change their pose in weird ways... Like for example, I use Daz Dog 8... I pose it... Then rotate it... And one leg is extending every time I rotate the figure. This is annoying as hell. I wish I could go back to 4.11 🙁
November 9, 2019 at 5:05 AM #1320128I just loaded up the dog 8.
Here's what I found with the dog.
Rotating with the dials seems fine.
Its when the universal tool is used to rotate it is where i see it go a little crazy.
Yes i see the doggy sometimes will do awkward gymnastics sometimes. Also when you spin the green dial and he decides to be normal you can still see that his paws are shaking as he is rotated.
You can see that when rotating the green axis, that the blue and red axis are also being used in the parameter dials. You can see them all spinning.November 9, 2019 at 5:17 AM #1320142Maybe for now Instead of selecting the whole dog to rotate just select the hip and then roate.
or select the dog but rotate with the dials.
Strange i have not seen any complaints on daz forums, but yes there is a problem it seems.
November 9, 2019 at 5:26 AM #1320148So yes I see the Problem your having, but you seem to be saying that there are other figures affected as well?
November 9, 2019 at 6:05 AM #1320178It's definitely an issue with the rigging on the dog - I've just done a completely reset of DAZ, and basically have next to no assets loaded - the dog still behaves weirdly (here, it's just its right front paw that behaves odd, from base pose when using the Universal Tool).
So there is definitely something funky. I'm guessing it's been fixed via an update, but since I don't have the original asset directly from DAZ, I can't confirm that.
November 9, 2019 at 6:20 AM #1320186Ok thanks. Looks like I'm not going crazy.
I had this issue with another scene. I had a figure with another one parented to it and every time I moved the parent figure it would alter the child figure's pose. That didn't happen in 4.11.
November 14, 2019 at 1:12 AM #1326780After the update, I was greeted with zero panes. I had to add all of the panes manually and I'm sure I'm still missing some tabs.
