This is composed wonderfully with a unique point of view. Very complex scene elements but not at all random pr overly busy - lots of thought went into this, I think. The kid's expressions and poses are terrific. Would love to see this using some DOF, with the foreground elements slightly out of focus. More snow with some accumulation on the street/car might also work well.
I went pretty far outside the box of traditional holiday images, right into my sci-fi/fantasy comfort zone, but I think it captures the theme. My original concept was a family or group of explorers discovering a family of Yeti in a winter scene. I couldn't make it come together and the idea evolved into this. Many thanks to @enjoyify and all who donated points!

The vampire is a slightly modded Tasha 8 with her vampire textures. Nose and mouth are widened to make her appear more animalistic. Face and arm/hand vascularity dialed in. Expression is mostly a combo of angry and snarl.
The girl is a heavily dial-spun bluejaunte Amira with her textures. The expression is mostly afraid with a hint of angry.
Nice work everyone. Its good to actually be using assets rather than just collecting them.

Thank you @lucafeelgood for providing the inspiration to get out of an artistic funk. Since its October I went with a dark vibe. As usual, this went through numerous iterations with "just one more tweak/addition/change." We all learn that at some point you need to call it finished as better is often the enemy of good enough. Just today I considered changing the smaller pursuit character into the newly released Plague Doctor, and then thought of adding wounds/bruises/blood to the Inaru character to suggest that she was injured and/or ill, perhaps a quarantine fugitive. In the end I thought better of it - another render for another day...

The product remains in the store (inactive status) if you search. The screenshot is also on r/Daz3D. The Daz mods are removing all references to this on their forum which indicates to me that the surprise is indeed G9. If the mods had let it alone, this might have been a clever troll on their part. I guess the Daz mods don't know how the interwebs work...
