I wished ManFriday never sold his plugin. I don't blame him for getting the bag. However, after that happened, I choose to never support MF ever again. I hate subscriptions. I hope you will be able to make these programs work.

Sorry for the caps, but I'm pretty sure whoever is posting this scam program is also the creator. We talked about this once in the forum too. I trusted the reddit posts saying this program was safe to run. Turns out I was wrong and the program posted ads about this program on my social programs.
Be very careful. I would advise you to sign out all of your accounts on your browser and change your passwords. He probably used a cookie stealer or session id to post his dumb ad.

ngl, I have been thinking about this lately and it's probably due to some economic factors. Perhaps a reason why some vendors see piracy as okay is that these digital assets are expensive overtime. There are some big name 3D Blender creators that tells their fans how and where to download. One of the sites he uses is render-state.
most probably don't have bad intentions. some explain it as trying before buying. some say that they used to buy many assets before legitimately, but now it only sits and collects dust.
this issue isn't a black and white thing. it's shades of grey for sure. i'm pretty sure everyone has their own reasons. one thing that i can agree on is that if a product is pirated and you end up liking it and the product provides value back to you, then consider buying in the future to support the vendor
i still agree that it is more on the bad side that a vendor is a hypocrite. perhaps they act that way because there is an underlying issue we aren't aware of.

It appears that he now only exclusively works with Genesis 9 only. You can commission him for a new model, only pay when he finishes. Commission price is the regular price depending if you want Head only or Body included. It can be hard to get commissions and there are no waitlists.After the transaction is completed, he sends you a link to a deviantart stash to download. It looks like he removes the stashs after awhile for whatever reason. Probably to make space. It's possible you can ask for a reupload in case you lost your original files.
I need your help so we can get all of his models. I'm working with several others to cross references which models we have gotten so far. I want this to be a group effort and make the models more accessible. At those outrageously expensive prices he lists his models at, it can be difficult obtaining all his models. But if everyone can help, then we can all enjoy the models together. I've gone ahead and took advantage of the october sales he had and purchased whatever models I could. I'll work on making his models more user friendly. Because for whatever reasons, he saves the morphs as separate scenes that only loads that model. In return for your help, I'll be taking the time to make sure the models are of good quality.

I think deep down, we are all pirates to some degree. i mean, i get it that vendors are doing it to make money... but like, we're pirates here. most of use are probably not going to pay. a vendor being a pirate and a hypocrite is indeed pathetic. they can't even stand by their beliefs... actively engaging in the thing they despise is sad, lol
@supreme-leech, LMAO! i just realized your name is "supreme-leech". that explains a lot@Kheops, I agree with your points. RHenderArt making the accessibility is truly an annoying point. And as you pointed out, it is a big contradiction that he limits the model usage for his own moral and ethical reasons only to uses their likeness to make money.
Hello, I wanted to know what kind of person Anjabear was. Looking at all the comments, it looks like she was a big part of the community. I love to know more about the history of Daz since I started around the beginning of Genesis 8 figure was release.
Was she part of the poser era or later? There's a ton of history that I would love to know more about if anyone can share about anything 🙂

a lot of it comes from people not knowing the proper way of saving assets. daz for sure doesn't make it easy to know the CC pipeline. usually, they'll learn the proper way the more they create.
In this case, what @Paca mentioned about RHenderart saving the characters as a scene subset is indeed stupid. It seems like an anti-piracy measure or just pure laziness. But given the quality of RHenderArt, it looks to me more like a way to stop leaks.
If anyone has the morphs that can share it, I have experience in saving the morphs so it loads for all G9 figures. I'm considering using this thread to organize his models to be more accessible, if that's okay with the mods. Given the nature of how he sells his assets, it's not the typical Daz storefront. So a little more work will be needed.

I have experienced the same where certain vendors used same textures from other assets they don't own. Like, wth... i know this is a pirate site, and i'm a dirty pirate. but its even more scummy when vendors plagiarize, and get paid for it...
yeah, ngl, the prices are def expensive as hell. But the quality is up there.
How do you know RHenderArt uses gaming models? From my observations, it looks like the textures are at least better than gaming models. Gaming models are usually optimized to 2K or lower.
I sent the mods a message and @Maddy messaged me.

And if the request page was removed because sharing RHenderArt's model is not allowed, I need to know that so I don't waste anyone else's time.
