Well I will no longer be sharing stuff on the site due to lack of recourse for things like this happening. I have taken the links down on the few products I have shared.
I don't mind sharing, but I spend a lot of money on some of this stuff, and I took a lot of things down previously because of some similar situations. It's just not worth it to me to keep posting things or sharing things when people have no regard to the simple request of the people filling items.
Also specifically male themed items are a lot harder to come by compared to female driven items on this site because the majority of people just buy and share stuff for the women characters. It's just frustrating. To each their own, but for me it's not worth the time and effort if people can't simply follow basic rules.
I use to watch LTT quite a bit, but haven't for quite some time. I had to watch the video you provided to see what was going on. This in itself should be an indicator how dangerous some of these things are.
Average users that just want to know if a product is good or not, will gravitate towards videos with more views because that means the content is "trustworthy". A lot of people won't take the time to read the comment section to see if it has been updated, because frankly most people don't care to research that much.
The problem with a lot of content creators, influencers, and so on is everything is based in how much money can be made. Quicker video output before anyone else, means they will hold a stronger presence to get the views before anyone else. More videos also means more views, building into their "brand" and makes them more money. Also add in sponsorships, free products, and early access to projects, can and will make most content creators create biased reviews for fear of losing access to said companies.
Websites that allow reviews of products "that were sent out for free for a review" are also a huge problem because of the biased that someone may have as well because they got the item for free. Who do you know to trust? How do you know what someone is saying is completely accurate? A lot of times during surveys I usually recommend that the company look at their website and make sure there is an option to sort by verified purchases, but then again can be a problem as some companies will re-imburse someone for the cost of the product so it appears that a person has bought the item with no connections to the company.
That only matters if someone does their research and not base their purchasing patterns based on just the amount of positive or negative stars an item has and not reading the comments.
The are a lot of people out there that can and do make great content and accurate representations of reviewing products, and brands shouldn't mind real reviews and see it as a way to look at their products and make improvements down the line, as long as the findings are accurate.
In general the average user is just going to take it as face value, so those companies with strong arm holds on content creators will continue making content that favors them as long as they are able to make a profit. I think there should be some sort of regulation done to limit how companies can interact with creators and how reviews are conducted. It's really gotten out of hand and this is a great representation of how things have spiraled out of control, but the average user probably won't even notice just because they don't do the research (which they honestly shouldn't have to do just to find out if a review is honest or not).

Honestly the best thing that I have found is to look for things on DAZ, Renderosity, or wherever you like "Shopping". Once you find something that interests you, copy the title of the item and paste it into the search on here. Almost all content is listed by the same title that it uses from the original site. The OG sites have better filtering options when searching so I find it super helpful when I am looking for something particular. I mainly use male items so it can be hard to weed through everything, but that's what works for me.

It's freeware. Basically it's like a good ole download app from back in the day, but you can select the mega nz option under the add on or optional tab and it will automatically help with the downloads by changing the ip. You don't have to sign up for anything or sign in either. Just drag and drop the mega link onto the link grabber and then hit the start downloads button. I used it the other day for about 50ish links (non-Daz products) that someone provided me and it was able to download everything even after it hit the quota.
Alice has always been one of my favorite stories. Your render is fantastic and really well done. Thank you for sharing it with us.
@Frank22 I see what you did there lol. I actually was starting to make movie poster version of the ring but wanted it to be an updated version of it. The visuals of that movie and poster (including the original) were so interesting to me in the story they told without actually telling you what they meant or why.
I do like to spoof movie posters and give them an alternate twist where I can, I even have some of them hanging up in my room (smaller versions of course).
I will say also that I have a pretty good inkjet myself, but I have found that honestly getting artwork printed by a 3rd party is quite efficient and cheaper in the long run if you are just wanting something higher quality.
I've now had 2 full size posters printed, 4 mini movie posters, a small hard back book with just 5x6 shots of my artwork (although I will say the book is not the best lol), a 2023/2024 Calendar, and I have also had a set of Tarot Cards with a custom printed cheap slide box.
The cost of these things where I have had them done have been relatively cheap. The biggest thing you will have to worry about when sending things off to a printer is what your wanting to print. If it's anything with nudity, sex acts, licensed material, spoofing artwork, or celebrity-like realness there is always a chance that the company will not print it. So it always pays to research a bit about the company if you have those sort of things in mind, usually they will have information listed on the types of things they will or won't print.
I enjoy making artwork and some of it I'm really happy with to the point I think it's nice to have actual physical copies of. It's definitely worth looking into.
I think there is a place for AI generated work. I am definitely not a fan of the whole "borrowing" looks from creators who don't want their content used that's for sure. My other issue with it is when people at least don't mention that anything was made with AI. I tend to like to comment on things and applaud artwork that I enjoy, but if it's AI, my response would be a little different. Not that I still wouldn't give it credit or praise the work, but I would have follow up questions as to where it stemmed from and how they come up with that particular image (what AI system did they use, possibly what keywords, did they use a specific checkpoint etc.). Does that make sense? I am fascinated by it.
As far as putting it in my work, I have actually used it a few times for backgrounds in a few of my renders. I like mixing the two when I think it will work in my favor, but I usually acknowledge that "background made with AI" and the rest is done with DAZ and photo editing software.
@lucafeelgood Yikes. I am so sorry about that, my brain apparently got overwhelmed with excitement and I am a bit embarrassed by that. I did love Tin Man, but Syfy did also a Alice version much like in the vain of how they did Tin Man by the same director and it actually has Tim Curry in it. I would have to re-watch it as it's been years, but an interesting find.

I love Alice in Wonderland for many reasons and I love seeing others who enjoy it as well. The computer games American McGee's Alice and Alice Madness Returns although very dark and gloomy I really enjoyed them a lot. I also of course enjoy the movies, the original and the Tim Burton adaptation as well, along with several other remakes I have seen throughout the years. But I will say the SyFy series Tin Man was so good. I really enjoyed it, and being a Sci-Fi geek it really appealed to me lol. I will also include a few renders I have done that have those themes as well.
