Sorry for been late, thanks for the input and what both of you said is true and i'm already well aware of it but the thing is without having a number it makes it scary to take a step forward.

Also LivingPixels said that environments/structures earn less, i said it as an example because what i'm really working on is creature/monster and a vehicle but they'll take some time. And i mentioned an environment or structure because i read somewhere that the artist which goes by the name stonemason was the highest paid pa at daz so seeing his catalog that is comprised of mostly environment assets i didn't think he was selling a few copies.

I've seen many people who said they will give it a try but all of them just disappeared, like no one ever said if they succeeded or failed selling 3d assets.

Well if i can twist the question a little bit, how high and low should i expect the number of sales to be? Like what's the difference between selling at daz3d, renderosity and renderhub?

I truly don't want to waste a few months worth of making a product just to see it flop. It's not that i need the money so bad because i'm doing good financially, it's just i need a good reason to leave my current job for good, it pays well but it's very boring and my passion was always making 3d stuff/coding games.

Any information will be much grateful.
