I'm of the opinion that we should have a separate category for NSFW assets or some kind of search filter that hide/shows NSFW. And it is NOT because of some kind of prudishness from my part. The problem for me is quite the opposite: unfortunately, many NSFW assets don't come with a post image. They have a standard "Parental advisory" banner instead of a picture of the asset as we normally see with SFW assets. Since we know that some people would throw a fit if they see explicit images in the blog, separating NSFW from the rest of the assets would make a good compromise for everyone involved.
@monkseye maybe you could help me with this question as you were the user who made that (now removed) post on the blog.
Question: is Daz3D (the company/store) prohibiting artists from publishing new G8/G8.1 assets? Seems like I haven't seen new characters for quite a while...
Also, it seems that the moderation is not removing dead posts when someone reposts them. So some people could be tricked into thinking that a certain item is no longer in the blog when it actually is... At least it happened to me...
Unlike Mega these file hosts won't store the time of your little modification so the original download date will be lost in time, like tears in rain so you can share the files with anyone, and don't worry Mega is perfect for everything else
@warrant63 The download date and the modification date are not the same time. If you deleted the .DBF 2 hours after download, the date modified of the ZIP file is 2 hours later than the download date.Does Mega really store the modification date? Or are you talking about the upload date? If it's the modification date, you can change it with a program such as BulkFileChanger. You can set the date to anytime like 2005, so they won't be able to tell the original date.
Angel Wings is still selling Octavia and Chloe on Daz3D, though.
Also, slightly off-topic, but Angel Wings is actually a man.
It is a textbox either above the "Read" "Unread" bar or the "Activity",... bar and says something about downtime and maintenance. This textbox has an x-button on the right side. Press the x-button to close it. If it doesn't appear, try to disable your adblocker.
I can't see a textbox anywhere. And I don't use an adblocker here.
@warrant63 I have no unread messages at all. And selecting all messages and marking as read does not make any change, the page just reloads and everything stays as is.
@warrant63 as I said before, I can't see any notice when I click on that notification. It just brings me to my profile page.
@kerwidwen I don't have any unread message right now. I have that notification icon on top right, but I can't see a single unread notification in my notification list.
