Hey, Benten. I can't confirm whether it works since I haven't been using G8 for awhile but what you CAN try is installing an OOT hair update in DIM. (search the blog, any one will do) The update should be dated 2023-01-24. There's 3 right now in the blog, Linda, Classic Bob and Double Tails. You only need one.
DAZ forums say the update will fix the shader crash and it's a shared file between the older G8 hairs.
No, I asked if the updated Double Tails Hair and Classic Bob Hair posted by @heetee in the blog also contain the iray crash fix?
The dsfs you shared on Gdrive says it was last modified on Oct 15 2023. The updates from @heetee were posted on Oct 16 2023.
If yes then I can just install one of them last in DIM.
I'm still on 4.21 (lucky enough to disable autodelete package in DIM).

Classic Bob Hair for Genesis 3 and 8 Female(s) (Update 2023)Would the updated hairs from the link above fix the iray crashes with all the older OOT hairs in 4.22+? I read in some places that install order matters so installing these updated hairs in DIM "last" would fix all the older ones?
I know the transmitted map fix, but outoftouch updated their hair updates which address this. But those updates we don't have.
When i was trying out 4.22 i keep forgetting to manually fix the map and sure enough DS crashes itself when i use one of those older hairs. Having updates would be nice but 4.22 isn't a major version with any appealing features so i've gone back to 4.21.
@melonlord I noticed the new UI change too. @ulysses is right that RS has more "older" links still active but 3d-load.net does update faster with newer stuff.
@joelj @inversekinematics Thanks for also confirming the link. I was using both 3d-load and render-state before I knew Zone existed and was the source for the leech sites.
I just recently saw in different discussions about zone members using 3d-load for backups and wanted to make sure i was using the correct site.
@pooper Hi, thanks for replying. Yea I know about both sites being leeches although getting older stuff there helps. Also got ublock for tackling that trash redirect thingy but I stopped using render-state.

Saw someone trying to find the model in the DAZ forum but they never got the answer from the vendor but other users tried to help. I don't think vendors like outoftouch will ever reply in the forums so I'll just give up on this.
But as for the skin used, if anyone's interested, I may have found it and it could be Amira HD.
