Site-wide notifications will literally not appear unless the user has a profile image. It's 100% a bug/glitch and I replicated it with the latest gmail notice twice now.

You can test this by deleting your profile image when you see a site-wide notification, then once you click the notification, it won't appear.

so the solution is to change your profile image and the notification will appear.

apparently changing the profile image makes that notification finally appear for us to close it, it worked for me and ulysses so this is definitely a bug

I think the notifications may need to be reset in the backend for some users as it might be the only solution unfortunately

edit:

Oh the notification finally appeared on my profile page somehow (once I updated my profile picture lol) and I just closed it. it's now permanently gone. maybe changing anything in your profile like profile image makes it appear? anyway it's now solved for me

If it's possible then it should be only allowed for the image urls while everything else in the post should be left to the reporting system like the store url.

When you search in requests, the points don't show in the resulted items. Is this a bug or intentional?

I have made the image size standardized to 300px height
also if the request is filled, it will only show 'FILLED'
and finally set the points/filled opacity to 0.8

The only thing left I suggest to add a colored border (blue?) to indicate if the user has added points to any of the item

The edited one is much better but i think it should also be either in the bottom left corner of the image or under the item name/title in the center/left imo.
If the request is filled, then the points should be replaced by "Filled" instead of being under it or perhaps if not replaced, it should be on the right side

I also wish the size of the images/posts would be standardized
