Hmmm, these changes can improve things or unfortunately damage things. Preventing people from sharing with other sites won't stop. I mean we wouldn't be here now if people weren't taking this stuff from Daz3D, Epic Games, Renderosity and sharing it. I only really donate through PayPal for points and download content. Mostly just a quiet user. Expiration of points would drive me nuts to the point I would just abandon ship. I don't agree with the removal of daily points, but understand it's a curtesy. Those daily points set you apart from 3D-Stuff which instead of free daily points, offers free downloads on some new arrivals. It's also really nice having that daily 100 when y'all's services are down and I want some items. I believe what you got now is good. Trying to combat pirates is just going to stress your honest users. I mean look at EA Games back in the 00s with PC cd keys. My opinion on this.
I been using the different sites almost daily. I have noticed ZoneGFX and 3D-stuff tend to be slightly unique from each other. I have found different content from both sites and some newer content ends up on each platform quicker than the other. ZoneGFX though gives a free 100 points daily and 3D-Stuff will add some content for free. Only con with 3D-Stuff is Qtyfiles will most likely force a subscription due to it locking many/not all downloads for a premium account. As for 3D-Load, Shadowcore, and Render-State. They don't require an account or points, but are less likely to have recent content and rarely get content before ZoneGFX and 3D-Stuff. These sites get random updates and on average update weekly with only a few downloads, but don't require a point system or account. figured I do a follow up after using them.
