Torrents were how I was able to build my library in the first place, so I'm all for this scheme!
January 8, 2023 at 8:09 AM #1911194Yeah, I second the the idea of making content only visible upon signing up and logging in.
January 6, 2023 at 12:43 PM #1910506I know a scam when I see one!
Also, the answer is 10. (until it's not 😉 )
December 29, 2022 at 5:35 PM #1907311Yeah, a couple of my recent ones got hit within just a few hours of posting them. I legit went "How tf??" out loud when I got notifications for 'em. Someone out there is in full 100% fun police mode.
July 27, 2022 at 9:47 PM #1836029Honestly I don't have any problems with the quality of the stuff he models. Some is a little cheesy or just not useful to me. But he's made some useful clothes that I'd like to download. It's just, once again, the site design. Awful, tedious, terrible. For absolutely no reason.
July 26, 2022 at 10:08 PM #1835604Much of what he models is extremely basic, but I find uses for it by kitbashing it with other things and layering the clothes under or over stuff and using shaders to improve the appearance. The celeb stuff isn't the worst to me. I don't have any use for it but there's some faces that I recognise as certain celebs. I just saw one the other day that looked like Cara Delevingne. All that said, SOMEONE seems to like his stuff because he's been in business forever and his stuff gets plenty of shares on the various sites out there.
July 25, 2022 at 3:01 AM #1834875Oh man, Geocities and Netscape. Netscape had a WYSIWYG HTML editor integrated into it and I would build sites in that. I had a Geocities account too. I never got the city I wanted for my host. I wanted Tokyo.
July 25, 2022 at 3:00 AM #1834874Seriously, the site screams of circa 1998 web design and even then I remember some sites back then being designed WAY better than that. Hell, as a kid I USED to design sites for fun and I knew to make a more streamlined experience than what he has. That's bad when an 11 year old is more informed on web design than an adult.
July 25, 2022 at 2:58 AM #1834873I fell like he's doing it deliberately at this point. For what reason, though, I couldn't tell you. Other than to just make sure he gets as many eyeballs on his ads as possible, which is silly because a user came to his site in the first place so they don't need to be so aggressively advertised to. Otherwise, it discourages wanting to use the site for more than a few minutes at a time.
July 23, 2022 at 4:27 PM #1834422There's stuff on his site that I can find uses for by switching up their looks with assorted shaders and integrating them with other clothing to make interesting outfits. I do a lot of mix and match stuff like that. Every now and then there's needful practical props, but the whole site just feels like it was designed to make a person hate every single second of interacting with it. Why is it so clunky???
July 23, 2022 at 12:33 AM #1834214Yeah, I've noticed that over the years. But jeez... Just using the site in general is a chore.
July 11, 2022 at 3:43 PM #1830416I think it'd still be nice to have a fave button or a bookmarking system to keep track of stuff to come back to!
January 16, 2022 at 11:13 AM #1767413The Metaverse nonsense shows just how late to the party they are. This shite has been going on with MMORPGs galore, Second Life, IMVU and other things like those for YEARS now. They're just now discovering the scene and think they've reinvented the wheel. It's like whenever Apple would do pressers for their products and folks acted like they'd NEVER seen innovation until Apple did it. PUH-LEASE.... The Zuck can go sit down with his Metaverse shite. I'll be over here playing Final Fantasy XIV.
November 26, 2021 at 5:06 PM #1752178Greetings and welcome aboard, friendo!
June 6, 2021 at 5:36 PM #1700546Yep! That's the whole purpose of the phrase "Sharing is caring!". Everybody wins if they all get to enjoy the game.
