One unique option would be to download a city buildings asset pack from the Unreal Engine marketplace. There's a bunch of good quality free ones, such as this: https://www.unrealengine.com/marketplace/en-US/product/city-sample-buildings

This requires downloading Unreal Engine. However, after you do that, and open up the asset pack, you can export the individual building assets and import them into Daz.

I believe that you are not supposed to use UE assets outside of UE, however I wouldn't be too concerned if you are only using them for rendering. I don't expect you would receive threatening emails from any concerned parties.

Obligatory not a lawyer and this is not legal advice.

For 2D renders, the chance of legal action is next to none. The Daz TOS states you can essentially do whatever you want with renders, as you are not sharing any of the models themselves, and therefore not allowing others to obtain assets without purchasing them.

If you were to go around posting very publicly about how you are using pirated assets in your renders, and for instance you are using those renders for a game you have monetized, they could perhaps shut you out of revenue sources (ie, remove your game from steam, etc). But there is pretty much no way to verify whether the assets that appear in your renders were obtained legitimately or not, short of the author of those assets contacting you and asking for some sort of verification, or you announcing to the world that the assets were pirated. So, just don't do that, and you should be fine.

One surefire way to fix it is by creating a custom morph in Blender. Use diffeomorphic to bring over your posed character + clothing. Make sure you send them over in base res, so you can create a morph later. In blender use the sculpt tool on the clothing to cover the geograft how you see fit. The inflate, smoothing and grab brush will all be helpful here. After that's done, select the clothing and export to .obj. Apply the morph to the original clothing in Daz using morph loader pro.

Check out this. It utilizes the Genesis 8.1 makeup surface channel.

Import the hair separately from your character in CC3. When the import options appear, be sure to select the hair category. You may need to re-size the hair within CC3 to ensure the scalp surface fits properly. I have done this successfully, though I don't have it open at the moment, so apologies my advice is not more specific.

Thank you for the suggestions, I've been looking for an excuse to clean up my Daz folder, as it's nearing 200gb. I rarely use the morphs from pre-made characters anyway, I prefer to start from scratch and use something like Genesis 8 Female Head Morphs to mix and match the shape.

Another unrelated question- What CPU is good for Daz? My CPU is the oldest part of my rig and I'm looking to upgrade. I was considering the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, but I'm concerned it might be overkill as I have no idea if Daz will actually utilize 12 cores or not. I might get it anyway for things not related to Daz, but my primary consideration for upgrading is improving Daz performance.

I sometimes have an annoying issue where after I apply the morphs to an item, my Daz client heavily lags, making it unusable for the remainder of the session. I usually get around this by saving before & after the morphs are applied, and restarting Daz and re-loading the character with the morphs applied.

This doesn't always happen, about half the time the morphs apply and I don't get any lag. It doesn't seem to be dependent on what item I am applying the morphs to, it will sometimes lag and sometimes not with any item. I think it may have something to do with smoothing, but turning smoothing on or off after the fact doesn't solve the issue.

If anyone knows what's happening here, I'd love to not have to restart Daz half the time after applying fit control morphs to an item.
