I have tried the method you spoke of with the rigging and such, and even then I get problems, but I think it's because my character's pose is considered extreme, even though it looks basic to me. I will try to play with the collision iterations as I don't think I tried that yet, so thank you for the advice. Like I said, even now I sometimes feel like a noob when it comes to daz as I mostly trained myself to use it by watching YouTube vids and when they start to get too technical I think smoke starts coming out of my ears because my brain is overheating lol. Anyhow, thank you for your patience and kind advice!
@littlepleasures thank you for your response. I had a feeling it was a weld issue, and I wish there was a quick fix, but it seems not...such is the problem with my life, lol! I was trying to find a way to weld items together in MD but I wasn't sure if I could edit daz clothes that I didn't create. I will experiment to see if I can. I don't care what morphs the original clothes came with because I import my own morph with morph loader pro so that shouldn't be an issue.
@abad thanks for your reply, I had the same urge to toss it in the trash as well. Sometimes I think I barely understand how to use Daz Studio let alone MD, so learning another program like Blender or Rhinoceros7 is not something I'm keen on...My brain is running out of room, lol. All in all the process that you're describing to fix the dress sounds complicated and I am again tempted to throw it away and find another article of clothing to work with. But I will check out that link you sent and hopefully it will help, so thanks again.
@windreaver0118 thank you for your reply as well. The problem I have with DS simulation is this: for some strange reason, when I auto-fit garments (especially garments made for G8 to G3) the clothes seem to get sucked into my character as if they are generating their own gravitational force and no matter what settings I choose in the simulations tab (changing the gravity and air resistance or material settings and etc.) nothing seems to work and will sometimes result in explosions. I don't want to change my character's pose to help with simulation which is why I use MD so that I can import my avatar into MD in an A-pose, import add the garment, then import the posed version of my character as a Morph target, most clothes seem to simulate perfectly...except of course for clothes that fall apart like the peasant dress. I will also try your suggestions and hopefully I can fix the issue.Thanks again to all who responded! Your help is appreciated!
@taishobee, I don't specific errors but when converting it will look as though it's working and then say 0 items converted (paraphrased lol, I don't exactly remember the exact wording).
@MLTH4486 Yes! this is exactly what I'm talking about, I had to force convert some items just so it would even attempt anything and even then certain items just would not convert no matter what I tried. I will download the items you mentioned and give them a try. I tried to use this converter in the first place because I thought it would be easier to convert gen 8 clothing rather than trying to convert my gen 3 character on my scene into gen 8 to wear gen 8 clothing. I've tried converting my characters before with little success. My problem was that when I loaded a customized character onto my scene with a custom pose and camera, I would have liked for that scene to not be messed with, and so I've tried other conversion products in the past like RiverSoft Art's Character Converter from Genesis 3 Female to Genesis 8 Female and it takes my custom work and messes up the pose and then when trying to convert my morphs it spits out a figure that looks like an emaciated shell of my original... I know it's probably half my fault for not being patient enough to read a guide to figure out what I'm doing wrong, but for once in my life I'd like for things to be simple and clean lol. Anyway, I'm ranting now, thank you for your input. It's nice to know I'm not the only one having issues with the conversion software. Hopefully a patch will be released to fix some of these problems in the future.@ehrez and @adelasia Thank you both! will transfer points asap! I IDENTIFIED THE MIDDLE PICTURE FROM THIS ALREADY (THE GOLD BEADS WITH THE RED JEWEL IN THE MIDDLE). IT'S FROM THE DFORCE ZAHRA OUTFIT. I STILL NEED HELP IDENTIFYING THE OTHER PICS.

@trader for some reason I already have the mesh installed on my daz studio, and so I bought the texture. I don't know where I got the Ida Outfit. Maybe I got it here and now the link is broken/taken down, or maybe I got it somewhere else. I will check some of my old zips and see if I can find it.
@donk Man I really hate the DMCA...Back in the day before KAT was even a thing, I used to *ehem* contribute to Demonoid before the DMCA took that down...At least I'm getting my Robin Hood fix here... ^_- Just curious, why don't we use imgur?? I noticed some people already use it on this site, which accounts for why we at least see some images in the posts...Is it more of a precaution than a convenience issue?
