This is really good. I started trying to learn FL Studio quite a while ago just to realize that for how much I love music, making it is not my forte.
June 22, 2026 at 4:06 PM #2178209Again.... Nothing is being deleted. They are out of the content library, and have no plans of deleting them any time soon. My problem isn't about storage, its about bogging everything down with useless items and improving performance. Which I have. And yes, this is an SSD if anyone is wondering.
I feel like I made it pretty clear in my first post on how I'm aware that this isn't ideal. I'm simply looking for a better option because i KNOW this isn't the best/safest option. But it's the only one that works for me so far, which is why I'm sharing it.
June 22, 2026 at 2:20 PM #2178202Also, I edited my main post with some clarification as to why I started this thread. 🙂
June 22, 2026 at 2:14 PM #2178201That said, I wouldn't trust any AI to do bulk file operation for me, especially when there is limited provision for auditable actions and rollback due to the piecemeal approach. At the end of the day, its your repository (and resources), you decide whether the juice is worth the squeeze.
Oh believe me, if anyone has been burned by a "this shouldn't be a problem" AI bulk operation, its me (cries).
As I said though, nothing is deleted. Items are kept in a quarantine folder in which Codex keeps track of via change-log. And errors are easily corrected by telling it to do so (or manually dragging/dropping). It's also the reason I have multiple quarantine folders for each session, so I'm not rolling back thousands of files at a time in case of errors. So far I have had one or two issues that were easily corrected. And I cleared up thousands of G1/G2/G3 stuff I no longer use (with the exception of shared files).
So my main warning would be to NOT let it simply remove items because they are associated with older items. Thankfully I was aware of this and used caution.
The scripting approach looks interesting though. And I'll have to take a look at that. Thanks for the idea.

March 3, 2019 at 2:41 PM #982786Still having problems. It appears to be Javascript related, looking at the chrome console. I tried clearing cache as well with no help. Did the admins change the script load order, or maybe add a new plugin conflicting? I noticed disqus has been causing JS issues lately (for me at least, on my site), maybe that could be the culprit.

February 16, 2019 at 9:51 PM #963621Welp... It seems my issue all along was I was using the latest stable build. I had no idea that 4.11 beta was out. This fixed my issue. Thank you all for the help. Now ill crawl into my shame corner with glee
February 16, 2019 at 8:59 PM #963570Just updating here. Sarah has sent me a scene file. The sim works when I play it, but it breaks when I re-sim, giving the same undesired results as prior.

February 16, 2019 at 8:20 PM #963538Here's a better video from start to finish of the basic included example. Note: I toggled "start bones from memorized pose" after this example with the same results. I even set the surface sim settings the same as the video example above, as well as the fabric subdivisions.

February 15, 2019 at 9:36 PM #962373Change “Start Bones From memorized Pose” to “OFF”
Change Frames To Simulate to Animated (Use Timeline Play Range)same results 🙁
February 15, 2019 at 1:40 AM #961236Gahhhhh... This is driving me crazy lol. I've went over the directions many times, and followed the video. Maybe a setting toggled from previous projects?

And the gizmo moving when the magnet is selected: https://imgur.com/a/bfyKf6k
This video leads me to believe that some setting is locking the magnet in place when simulating.

February 13, 2019 at 6:12 PM #959515I'm doing that though. No movement with the simulation. But the gizmo for the magnet is moving. It's almost as the magnet is locked for some reason
May 19, 2018 at 2:32 PM #610313@nightreaper Wow, I think you nailed it with the 50 Glitter Fabric Iray Shaders. Thanks
