Niniane had a nice idea coming X-mas.
Basicly we al up something free of points, like a goodie bag..
A special page, with items only available for a short time
IT is just a concept just now but I would like to know who would participate?
IF there is no interest, it's not worth organising.

Haha that's so cute @Gaver... I love it. 🙂 We haven't gotten through Thanksgiving here in the US yet, so most people aren't even thinking about Christmas Holidays I guess.

The Christmas Art Competition currently has 360,000 pts in the pool contributed by 22 members, so "only want to take" might be a little off the mark unless you think we're only in it to win points.

Been disappointed in "mankind" a few times recently, So maybe I am a bit bitter.
I apologiseI just think it is a shame when a member is trying to do something for the community, and there is hardly any reaction.
One would think twice to start up something again....The Xmas points collection is a great idea, and so easy to participate using the new request option.
The Gift Bag is a little more involved.
Previously you would purchase an item [or use something you already own, but not on site yet - maybe filled request item that is not in the wild yet?] then send a DL link to whoever was holding on to all the items until they were to be distributed as one link [maybe available from Dec 25th to New Years Day?].
If I recall correctly this was an admin keeping the items until such time [I think @Monk was quite involved].
Any chance of resurrecting the Goody Bag? Or suggesting the best way to do so?hey fuzzy, it was tomsk who ran it. He is sorely missed here. He is the kind of mod that all other mods should aspire to be.

Al she has to do is keep a TXT file with al the links, and since it is a giveaway she could post them al on a specific date. Would be nice if a mod would make a temporary page where she can upload al the stuff, and make the page visible for everyone on set date.
IF Niniane does not want to do all the work, maybe we can get a " trusted" volunteer to do the work.
With trusted I mean a person who is well involved, and thus known, with the zone, and earned the trust required for such a jobJust an idea....

I'm new here, I find the idea generous and I'm going to participate by creating a character based on G8F. For the moment I can personalize the faces but I hope to be able to make the body in this fairly short time.
sounds interesting, but how would it work? We all upload something that will only be available for a limited time ?? Then what, we have to re-upload again the regular way for others that missed it? Or are you saying stuff already on the blog, the original poster can set it not to collect points for X length of time (making it free for that duration)??
