This is getting a touch weird, but still fun. One of the attractions of nice heels is that they bring a shapely leg to a nice 'finish'. A leg tapers gently, swelling around the knee then again tapering down the calf. The foot is placed in a tapering pose finishing at her toe. The heel should be delicate and thin so that it doesn't present an incongruous distraction to the thinning shape of her foot. Heels should be tall enough to present an elegant shape but not so tall as to be trashy, around 10cm is fine depending on a ladies height.
Platforms are a hideous abomination and should be declared illegal.
They really do need a separate pose for the feet or have them zeroed out unless it's for a heel product , also they need a separate pose for expressions that come with a lot of the poses it gets really annoying when you can't zero out an expression no matter what you do.
and yes I do use the zero pose utility thingy but I've found for some expressions it don't work with for some reason. 🙁
I have noticed this with certain expression sets on G8 and 8.1 -- the 'zero expression' doesn't work, so I have to go through EVERY parameter dial and set to '0' manually...VERY annoying
I thought that there where some fan-written scripts floating around that zeroed stuff like poses and expressions?
Some of these comments are clearly retifism but "not there's anything wrong with that". Personally I prefer either clothed or completely naked, no shilly-shallying for me.
I prefer flat footing for posing as much easier. I know there are some poses which offer both a flat and heel poses. I've got a few poses that I have modified to get rid of the heel and make them a flat pose, so they are easier to use.
I've been ranting in some places about the high heels bullshit for years. Okay, you've got tha "sexy secretary" or that "dominatrix" set, you might want them in high heels. But a sf warrior? A hyborian princess? a catburglar? come on... when I was just a kid and I watched Cat's Eye (yes I'm old, sue me) seeing the three catburglar sisters acrobatic antics being performed with high heels already infuriated me and if a 13 years old kid can realize how impractical and stupid the concept is, so can adult content makers.
It also complicates poses in so many ways...The original Half Life game had some kind of female Ninja assassin characters that wore slinky black cat suits with tall heels. They leapt all over the place while shooting at you. I thought it was completely normal. One of the Wolfenstein games had a similar character. Someone made a script for the game that rendered those ladies nude except for their heels and hose. I almost didn't have the heart to blow their mean little heads off...almost.
