What was wrong with the ninja girl on the splash page ?

The first thing I saw when I came to the Zone was the ninja girl and she is kinda imprinted on my head.. I know there was a request for changing the image and also a competition for that..
I'm all in for changing the image on the splash page and the one we have right now is a fine image.. but it kinda breaks the menus on the page.. it would be better if the image was darker or if the menu had a background color.. its a bit hard to see the menu right now 🙂

The color could be changed in the "site-navigation" element css, if that's possible

The banner changes every so often. Honestly, I'm kinda shocked to have seen this one for so long. 🙂

I agree with the visual layout, the contrast is often horrible. Menu bar or shadowbox, that's the way to go.

100% agree. I often need glasses to be able to see anything at all. But what is GFX without all these little problems?

Besides, if we see the whole image, "zonegfx" text, below the image, it cannot be seen on the web. (At least, on my monitor...). The Wizard of Oz is to blame! (And Yoko Ono! LOL)
