People will go wherever they are welcome. And this is really why Indie endeavors are the tip of the spear. Making sites robust enough to be takeover proof is the hardest part. But it is possible. The problem afterward is making them infiltration proof, because this has been an ongoing issue with many Indie enterprises over the years. Take Image comics for instance: they started out as a pretty good Indie company, but later on they let their guard down and got infiltrated by people who want to use activism to take them down from the inside with inclusivity committees and ESG. They kinda firewalled it in a way, but it will take them years to shed the bad actors. In their wake, very recently several indie comic producers have emerged with very refreshing stories and artwork. I sometimes take a moment or two to peruse different stuff, especially the free to read comics. Not all of them are good, but there are some really good ones with thought provoking themes. The same can also happen to film or TV studios. As soon as they are infiltrated they turn their backs on what made them attractive to the public to begin with. But someone always emerges to give people a safe haven, for a time. Two films that broke the backs of Hollywood recently are Obsession, and Backrooms. The guys who made those films have been ostracized by the industry even though they were successful by any reasonable metric. And one of them happens to be Gen Z, so this supposedly "modern audience" is even rejecting the slop, and making their own stuff. The best way to counter all this garbage is to build outside of their control. Sure, they will try to come along and kick down our sand castles, but eventually they will tick enough people off that nothing will protect them.
July 19, 2026 at 1:09 PM #2180870I'm going to play devil's advocate and say that RenderHub selling all kinds of extreme adult material alongside 3D models of specifically-mentioned-as children models probably didn't help, either.
Either way, can't say I'm surprised this happened. It wasn't a matter of "if", but a matter of "when".
Now it's only a matter of time before a major video game company hits them with the hammer hard and we see ripped, ported-to-DAZ assets yeeted from the store for good.

July 19, 2026 at 3:26 PM #2180877I never really delved into RH. Occaisionally they might have a character only available there, but I was not aware they were more like Renderotica. I never browsed. Just followed links to specific models. But this makes total sense if they were heavy on the erotic stuff while at the same time hosting models of 3d kids. Not a good look.
July 19, 2026 at 4:09 PM #2180884The one thing I will give Renderotica credit for is that they did not allow anything remotely CSAM or child-related in their storefront. I think that’s a big reason why they were able to limp along for as long as they did, quite frankly.
The fact is, if a payment processor sees a SFW child model/character right next to “Getting fucked in the pussy with belly bulge and creampies” poses and material, or if a child model is sold with “anatomical materials” they’re sure as shit ain’t gonna delineate between the two regardless of how they’re categorized in the store.
If a dedicated 18+ Daz content site pops up after this, they better take a hard stance against CSAM and/or using said assets to create that kind of content. (Not that you can control what sickos do once something is purchased, so in the words of KingCobraJFS, fuck sickos. TWU.)
So to that end, it does not surprise me that this happened when you look at the broader picture.
And if you use Daz to make this shit, there’s a cold room in Hell waiting for you.July 19, 2026 at 7:41 PM #2180906100% agree.
July 19, 2026 at 7:51 PM #2180907@Fey - Agreed, so people can't say it's "CENSORSHIP" when in fact it's STR8 up the fault of the site for putting child oriented stuff along side x rated content. no one's fault by the owner of the site for doing that.
And I agree, renderotica has a STRICT NO CHILD oriented uploads or assets on their site.
EDIT: And yeah anyone who makes this sort of crap that is child oriented only, as F'ED up in the head...
