I'm going to the closest airlock and spacing myself. LOL

So I have to re-UV map in order to get anything to take a texture pattern?

I was just using plaid, camo, flower prints, velvet ribbed, anything, just to see if I could get it to take a texture pattern.

I just want to bring the damn bridge into the 21st century and modernize it without having to rebuild a new bridge. It would be the same for all of the trek sets.

    LOL!

    Looks that way šŸ™
Anyway, the Enterprise had a light grey floor. Of course a Camo carpet would be amusing though :p

Have you tried clearing memory, then re-applying the diffuse map? Sometimes I find DAZ sticks to some borked version of a tex, and refuses to update if it's changed.

    try it:
First, remove any image you might have in the Base Color channel (set it to 'None')
Then, in the Content Library, find Scripts/Utilities/Purge Memory, double-click the script to run it (you won't see any obvious effect, but it removed all cached references the channels might hold to data attached to a texmap filename)
NOW, go back and apply the image you want to the Base Color channel, if that was indeed the problem, you should now see the texture applied to that material.

If this isn't it, then I'm not sure what the problem could be.

I need to figure out how to UV map everything else. People say its easy, but I'm finding thats not the case for me. Of course, instructions would help instead of, "Hey.. whats this button do?"
    "DON'T PUSH THAAAAAA......"
