I have been a web developer for over two decades and lease server space. All my domains on one server cost me under $50 a month. WordPress used on this site is free software as is another excellent platform Joomla.

I do not use anything from here for commercial purposes however. This is just hobby

That does not count a person's time and effort to manage a site and make sure security patches are kept current. Those are not dollar amounts unless you pay someone else to do it for you.

But the service this site offers to people like myself is very valuable and deserves support.

Limit the number of request per day. I've seen a flood of requests by individuals that push everything down. Requesting 10 different items in different posts will fill a page. The pages here are already to small to contain the requests of just a few people.

If possible, could you add a search engine to find a topic in the request section :

- see if a product you own has been requested (before creating the post)
- find its own requests
- retrieve a request from another member

so far, I do it by google but it's not always obvious (far from perfect)

I was sure I tried it a long time ago, but to no avail.
That's why I hadn't tried these days.
My memory is failing (perhaps Alzheimer)
