I've been on here and regretted some things I said due to a few too many drinks, so let's give the guy a break. Nobody knows what's happening in his life. If he came back and said his wife/mother had just died so he's lost it a bit, how would we feel then?
You're right LP but I don't like group pile-on or cancel culture even if it may seem well deserved. Too much of that about already.
Truth be told, I don't give a damn about your opinions derived from a comment. Each person is free to express their opinions (Well, that is questionable in many countries ... because of the political idiots you have voted, a reflection of your mentality, I think.) I don't give a damn about your opinion, or yes, how this thread derives with if images of vintage lingerie. Seriously: I don't give a shit. But keep up your neighborhood neighbor stuff ... If I want to watch porn, I go to a porn website. If I want warez, I go to warez webs. If I want mathematical formulas, I go to the source. Or do we want stupid products that abound on other websites. But don't you recognize the nonsense you are doing with your comments? I don't represent the majority, ever! But please think what the hell are you doing? And, as Frank21 says, I'm grumpy. No more words.
I'm sure we're all big enough to accommodate cranky people and diverse opinions and most of the reaction was more humorous than mean-spirited. Personally I don't like sifting through all the old and outdated stuff myself but some people still use V4 and her stuff and I recognise that what I consider junk isn't to others. How one responds to that comes down to a matter of attitude.
Next year, we may see STL-type junk for 3D printing here, but EVERYTHING is pretty. O apps for your Android or I / os device. EVERYTHING is fun. Happy new year....

Don't even say that because I've seen that happen with other sites, desirefx and even Skyback now. That sort of stuff is useless for Poser/DS users.
When I come here I click on "All Posts" which doesn't filter content so everything is thrown up. Perhaps we could have separate Daz and Poser categories to narrow things down a bit. But if the OPs problem is that "things I don't want" still appear, that isn't going to fix it. That's a bit too non-specific.
My own 'STL-type junk' pays for my 'Daz junk' and I wouldn't want to see it posted here. Not that I think there's much chance of that; there are lots of places to get free STLs of both the non and pirated variety already and it's a different user base as well with only a small overlap.

just want to say that V4 stuff is NOT AT ALL useless . Some of us, like me, don't get along with DAZ at all (workflow, layout, program build ...) so we are devoted poser users 🙂 .... Genesis/daz doesn't work in poser (at least not as it should despite DSON and other stuff) so we are stuck with V4...
but with KARINA's SASHA19 (FREE!!) and tons of morphs... she is equal to genesis now !!
So that 'useless' stuff as you name it, is a treasure pile . perhaps still even larger than all genesis stuff together...
it's not because it's old, it's useless... some items from V4 are better quality than some genesis/daz stuff i've seen.
if it bother's you , perhaps a separate itempage especially for V4 stuff could be an idea so it doesn't get mixed up between DAZ/genesis stuff...
but to abandon/delete all ""useless"" V4 items for the sake of even more "useless" dAZ/genesis items would be an unforgiveable sin

So true !! totally agree ! All though V4 is around for 2 decades (if not more), her stuff is certainly not old and useless ! I have over 10GB of V4items alone. It's a bit sad Smithmicro never 'answered' to the genesis evolution with a new V4 for poser but I for one will never abandon V4 for Genesis for all the reasons you say (and more )
And yes, OP posting this topic has certainly cost him more mouseclicks and wheelscrolls than he would need just to get passed V4's items 😀 😀
We've had this conversation before, and despite us explaining why we love V4--how the mesh and materials both look better, how the clothes are modeled properly and not flat and formless--it was concluded we were just losers stuck in the past, which is particularly funny because I did say in that thread that I'm relatively recent on the 3D scene, and I've never even seen Poser.
It kind of bugs me that the solution is always something along the lines of "have the mods reconfigure the site so I don't have to scroll for three seconds." Or "have the mods download every file and check it over." Like the mods are sitting around getting paid to service our every whim. That they've done this much is a fantastic thing.
We should start a V4 lovers club. 🙂

But another thing is that there's very little being made these days for V4/M4 so people are becoming more restricted by the lack of new content for the older models. Had a look through Rendo and there was only four V4/M4 products on the first 6 pages. As for the car analogy, when they stop making parts for your old one, people move to a newer model.Well...Urmmm...(Groan...)
The resident problem is that Daz (Daz Productions, Inc.) is a private company, and it is not like Blender (open source ..), which both offer their software for free. Both V4 and M4 for Poser (SmithMicro ..), were created by Zygote, that some "clever" decided to go independently to do their business. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daz_3D. And Daz, who barely has 10 employees on his payroll, not temporary ones, what if we count them, then about 100 people? ... I don't think so. They live off the crumbs of creators, from those PA (Product Artist ..) Or people who have to pay a license to obtain their packages to perform DHDM for the benefit of these drones at the cost of a bee-queen that touches her balls to make a minimal investment and slap your own asses and employees twice?
Now, in principle, my post was about irrelevant things on the site ...
You can discuss bras in the 50's ... I don't care or piss me off.
It was to preserve a community of people who, I think, are against doing a Daz sales policy wrong, and who use this platform to express their doubts (which the Daz forum itself cares about as if a kitten dies in Tibet ..., which are quieter than a fart at the mother-in-law's house.!)
And, above all, do not put trash, there are other places less pure than this.
