OBJ files. I was just taking a look at Twilek for G3F, it's actually not bad. Has 4 skin variations.

> Star WarsApril 7, 2018 at 9:04 PM #561673Bloom can be controlled... you have to adjust the blooming threshold. Keep increasing it until only the lights you want to bloom, bloom. So with that said, i make the sabre have the brightest emission, and increase the threshold (Threshold, take us to the Threshold <name that movie>) until only the sabre blooms. I did that with the falcon i recently posted... i had the sun light blooming until i increased the threshold and only had the engine. Play around with it, it's math, there is always a way 🙂
April 7, 2018 at 9:06 PM #561677@sparklepants, your spot light seems a little close, try a far away one, or use an emssisive object really far away, really bright. I have completely switched to that technique. I can put a massive sphere 5000 meters away and crank the emission up on it and replicate sun light, pretty close to it. that will produce a softer light, softer shadows.
April 8, 2018 at 2:52 AM #561936This is G3 with a different skin and morph. I added a new texture to the head tails. Its pretty close with only a fine line barely noticed. Id have to PS this but I made the texture in PS so 😛
I almost put it on G8 and probably should have but oh well.
Its a 7% render. I'm not sure where Im heading with this, I just wanted to see if I could reskin her.

Since you're talking Star Wars, here's one I prepared earlier 😉
I call it The Dark Lord of the Dance.
April 8, 2018 at 8:53 AM #562219BB8, Are you sure you got the coordinates right?

Hpyer Drive Motivator got de-motivated, again. Chewie, wheres the hammer?
April 8, 2018 at 8:54 AM #562220I'll package poe's x-wing in to an DIM package too later. Pain in the arse converting the original files. Hoping i can create soem canned poses for pilots in the xwing, but i want to find the flight suit and helmet first, or make one.

Had to take a break from the lightsaber yesterday, and ended up beating up a BB droid for my sith character. Weathering done on the head and body only at this point.

Even etched in a nice little Jolly Roger, cause why the hell not?

@aftyrbyrn Damn that xwing is looking good.. You using the glowing metal shaders on that?
April 8, 2018 at 2:51 PM #562613always nice to see a different take on things. I would probably have never thought about a personalized sith robot.
I was just thinking about that black droid in last jedi just the other day. SW has tons of droids so it makes sense to have a few handy for renders. Nice work.I I cant get into space scenes. They look cool and I enjoy seeing them, I just have no ambition to render one. I might be going about rendering a backwards way.
Im all about the character and space doesnt have any unless you count Leia Poppins. I make a character first then think of where i want it and what it will be doing vs having a cool environment and who id like to see in it.
April 8, 2018 at 4:26 PM #562793I'm using the space scenes so there is no expected atmosphere lol. Gotta get the look right, then i'll put them on the ground, i want pilot gear.
