Not sure I like the sculpting interface especially, but it's 1000% better than what we had natively in Daz.
Love the one click to create a jcm option. Needs a option to lock the created morphs to the character though - I can foresee plenty of people creating rogue morphs for themselves with this.
It's probably not the core aspect of the product, but if it could do multiaxis and keyed jcms it would be worth it's weight in gold to anyone creating characters.Once it's available elsewhere I'll be cheerfully buying this. Probably the single most useful daz plugin I've seen in years.
July 15, 2026 at 9:24 AM #2180394The fact that the morphs are not locked to the character really needs fixing.
A sloppy workflow is quickly going to lead to chaos otherwise!:0/
July 16, 2026 at 2:11 PM #2180536That's good to know because I was thinking of doing custom JCM's for my characters.
July 16, 2026 at 5:37 PM #2180561It's easily done, when you know how - ir that it needs to be done in the first place.
I can foresee lots of folks who don't know making a big mess for themselves before they learn about it!

I rely heavily on Ultimate Natural Bend Morphs (https://zonegfx.com/ultimate-natural-bend-morphs-for-genesis-8-female/) when doing renders with joint bends and so far it's worked pretty well with the main dial @65%; more than that starts to look gumby. I use that on every character so I'm not so sure I really need to do JCM's for mine; I'm likely to just recommend using that asset on the RCC characters page from now on.I love Yamrouser's characters but I've recently found some hidden dials from that artist's characters that are popping up by default especially in the eye-blink pose. I don't care enough to "fix" them, I just uninstalled them recently.
July 16, 2026 at 8:05 PM #2180576I ran the MD Diagnostic utility on my whole character library a while back - a surprising amount of characters had some corrective morphs that weren't locked to their characters. Even from the likes of MSO and Bluejaunte. So much for the much vaunted Daz QA!

I'd forgotten about that tool. That could be very useful for what I'm doing, thanks. I've run across quite a few of the higher level artist's stuff needing bug fixes, kind of surprised me.July 27, 2026 at 2:31 PM #2181922So what are the improvements with the 1.2 version?
Is it able to cut mesh?
:0/
July 28, 2026 at 10:43 AM #2182596@eelgoo - It's supopsed to, according to the preview images, and create new morphs for clothing, like dynamic morphs as an example.
I been waiting patiently for this to use on some of my older clothing that has no dynamic morphs and now I maybe able to finally use them.
July 28, 2026 at 11:25 AM #2182599So I got it to work, but my question is: how do you create morphs on already made clothing?
Like for example, on a dress that has the strap going behind the neck. How do you use this tool to where you can make the strap be a buckle strap and separate from behind the neck...
You have like a how to guide for this by chance, @Poe?
July 28, 2026 at 12:10 PM #2182602Yes, that is what I thought. Now that is encouraging.
I hope folk who have really got to grips with it can give some feedback.
🙂
July 28, 2026 at 12:43 PM #2182610Police Officer this topic is NOT on Geometry Sculptor which is part of Daz's subscription plan. This topic is on a new tool that was just released from a 3rd party creator called Sculpt Tool. Something that has been linked to in both threads that you've been asking this question on.

I don't have anymore information than what came with the readme file. I haven't really had time to dive into this much either so unfortunately I won't be able to help with this one.July 28, 2026 at 4:58 PM #2182638@Poe - Thats ok. Take your time dude. This will be a game changer in due time.
July 29, 2026 at 11:28 AM #2182737So I just want to voice my opinion that I think if you have a spare $20 that you should think strongly about picking this product up even with it being made available. My usage of it is still minimal but the author is making updates and we want them to continue to develop the tool. It has good functionality as is but think you'll be able to get the updates as they come out which is a nice perk. I think it's well worth the asking price.
