i use to set my room when i was a teenager to look like a comic book store comic books hanging on the walls and posters, the good old days weekly running to the comic book stores so much fun.

The times have changed. I ran a comic store for 22 years and we closed ours up a few years back after nearly a decade of losing money. Used to be, people would come in, buy stuff, hang out and play games. Then over the last decade we were open there was a rapid shift. Many more people were coming in to hang out and play while fewer were buying. As online shopping went up, our sales dropped to a point we could no longer sustain ourselves and once Amazon and other big guys starting carrying all the gaming stuff it was pretty much game over for us.

We still have comic stores here. Posters not so much but some music stores and a few odd shops carry them.

The way comics have changed, i really dont care to follow them any more. Im to old and married for posters.

Ill never give up video games and movies though.

The song video killed the radio star comes to mind.
The internet is killing just about everything.
