Today, the same user has posted almost 10 freebies in the post section.
Posting freebies can be a good idea, as freebies can be removed at anytime by their creator and posting them elsewhere is a good way to back them up, but obviously they must cost no point.
More, there is a "freebie" forum, but assets posted in a forum there are more difficult to find. If I want, say, a tractor, a hammock, a tropical beach, etc, I should be able to search the posts and find whatever is available (freebie or commercial items).In my opinion:
1/ there should be a way to specify a freebie when submitting a post, in the same way as one can "add original content".
2/ posting nevertheless a paying freebie should be penalized by a few hundred points fine, as it obliges users to report it and mods to deal with the post.Anyone posting a freebie in the regular posts should be immediately banned. They should know better. It's just a sleazy ploy for points.
I've posted a freebie (that I made) in the regular posts once, but...
- I prominently marked it as "FREE" in the title, and
- I explained in the description that it was a freebie for no points, and
- I posted the mega link in the description.I'll probably not do that next time, but it seemed the best way to post it at the time.
Maybe there can be a "free" category for zero points (to my knowledge, at the time there wasn't.)

to knock three times and last for "Louie"Don't knock the Free Resources providers Anna. Some of my conversions would have taken much longer than actually making them, and consist of models that can't be found for DS anywhere else. Much easier to just steal and post without any work of your own.
This model consists of dozens of material zones that each needed to be manipulated, modified and converted to Iray shaders... for free. Generosity is neither cheap nor lazy.I'm just happy you're still awake... usually tumbleweeds at this time when the other side of the globe is snoozing and dreaming of 51 ways to do-it with Taytay 😁.
