Maybe the rank should be tied to the amount of items somebody posts... not necessarily points.

Better yet.... Rank '2" could be 30000 points OR 10 Items posted.... etc etc on up.

I like the new site format. If rank did something i might be jealous. My usual suggestion is run a contest and share the love.

The first issue with rank is you lose it by spending points. You could be a top shelf provider and if you went spend happy you could drop rank.

The second is its basically does nothing. Its nice for bragging rights to the few that listen.

The nice thing now is the point system isn't broken like it used to be. I think it encourages sharing more. You can wait a bit and rack up on some points but if you wait to long someone else may jump on it. The bounty is paid before hand so there are no rats cheating people out of points. Only thing Id like to see is some form of way to instantly open a closed bounty by adding points again instead of having to open a new post.

As far as rewards for being a top points/sharer... Perhaps perks like adding a signature, a larger avatar, a set amount of cost free downloads a month, your art on the home page.

When I shared more and I had a ton of points I ran and contributed to several contest. I stopped sharing when The mods lost interest in the community and people started including " Dont share this I'll post it when I feel like it" in there bounties. Use to be that you had a better chance of getting struck by lighting than having someone not pay a bounty.
Ill probably start sharing again eventually. Ive not felt a serious urge for Daz in awhile but am warming up to it again.

Sounds the same as Tafi tears.
(my first job was programming binary load lifters, very similar to your vaporators in most respects)
