Good ole F95 has a repository of older versions of Studio...
Unfortunately it doesn't have a few important versions, chief of which is 4.24.0.3, the last good version of the 4.24 series before they removed plugin and script functionality. 4.24.0.4 is still available as an offline installer.
Does anyone have 4.24.0.3? If I can get it I'll share it in the freebie thread along with a few other versions I have including the early versions of Studio 6 that where initially provided as offline installers for a short time.September 17, 2026 at 11:13 AM #2188253I think I have it. I'm uploading it now, I'll shoot you a pm soon.

I uploaded the IM packages that are likely labeled for public BETA. It includes :
Photoshop Bridge
Dynamic Cloth Control
Daz Studio 4.24.0.3 64bit
Measure Metrics
dForce Starter EssentialsDo you have a standalone installer package? If so, it would likely be better.
September 17, 2026 at 2:17 PM #2188268I have the standalone installer for 4.24.03, and I just uploaded it; you can get here:

September 17, 2026 at 2:18 PM #2188269PS: It's only Windows - I don't have any of the Mac installers.

Thanks for the upload, always nice to have that sort of thing archived.September 17, 2026 at 2:26 PM #2188272Agreed. It gets spotty before 4.22, but I have versions going back to 4.12.1 (2020-vintage) for some weird reason.
September 17, 2026 at 2:38 PM #2188273September 17, 2026 at 8:43 PM #2188288Thanks, @pooper. @poepogue and I just traded versions that we weren't sure of. I'm thinking we've got 4.24.0.4 and 6.
I've got an older (beater) computer I can install them on and check. They're all zip files and nothing in the archives indicates which version they are. Once verified I'll share them with the folks at F95 to archive. Then they'll all be widely available.September 17, 2026 at 8:51 PM #2188289I'm curious if they can be blocked from updates easily. That seems to be the main issue with any older software, even the open source stuff. The constant push of updates, and often the software is made to behave badly when it's not updated (for no good reason). I constantly run into this with my Nvidia driver. It starts to get sluggish or buggy when there's a new update, which makes no sense, considering I haven't updated Windows in ages, so any current software should still work as is. I can see if Windows were updated, then the driver might need to account for that, but without OS updates there's really no point. And usually if it's due to a security exploit, the update opens another exploit on purpose.
September 17, 2026 at 9:40 PM #2188313I simply do not allow DS to access the internet.
Never had any problem running older iterations.
🙂
September 17, 2026 at 10:00 PM #2188325Yeah, it really doesn't need the internet to function.
September 17, 2026 at 10:24 PM #2188332I still have quite a few IM's in my download folder, if there isn't the correct one let me know and I'll root through them to find the correct one.
EDIT:
I found the IM installer for 4.23.0.3 public BETA which I believe is the 4.23.0.4 BETA; IIRC it displays as 4.23.0.3. I can't remember which version had the OOT hair issue that crashed when rendering OOT hairs but I want to say that 4.23.0.4 had the fix where 4.23.0.3 didn't. I'm currently using the 4.23.0.3 listed but is 4.23.0.4 BETA and have no crashes from OOT hairs or any other issue. Let me know if you guys want this version. It would be nice to have an actual 4.23.0.4 standalone installer though.September 18, 2026 at 9:29 AM #2188398Hello. When it was released I was thinking of updating to 4.24, but eventually decided to stick with 4.23 because I read some concerning complaints. So, 4.24.03 has proven to be good, hasn´t it?
Anyway, thanks a lot to pooper and everyone else who shares their installers for old versions !
Best regards,
