Lions and Tigers and Bears OH MY

I just figured out how to work in DAZ with Oculus Rift. Pretty cool! Anyone else out there got a rift?

as much as I'd love to, I won't, ever, be getting one, even if they'd just gift me a unit. OK, yeah, I'd gladly accept it as a gift, who am I kidding... but, it would still collect dust unused. I have tried, both the rift, and the PS4 VR unit, but it's giving me severe headaches, after some minutes of use.

Sorry @yanmartyn, that sucks. A few games, apps, where eye lag is heavy, i get nauseous, especially since my concussion a few weeks ago.

If anyone else does, I can share the setup, it's not something i think i would do my work in, but it's pretty cool. Especially since you can lock one camera from changes and parent it to the primary camera, keeps you from messing up the view.

I think it would be pretty cool to try i thought about this before and was wondering if it would work with Daz.now to find one cheap enough 🙂

it's pretty quirky the way i did it. Virtual desktop allows for side by side mode, so i set daz to full screen, dual window view. Make the left window left eye with a camera, copy that camera, move it right .85 (+x-axis) and make it a child of left eye (call this one right eye) then i make it unselectable, hidden, and lock all the controls (high light all translation, rotation and scale items, right click in parameters and lock them). Then hit shift f11 to make daz full screen on the dual viewport, go to virtual desktop, press f6 (toggle side/by/side i think, there is a gui, and wallah. pretty cool.
