Why is this advertisement shown to me every time I log in and in an obnoxious pop up?
The advertised site is the opposite of trustworthy and they are selling me the promise of getting lifetime access to their hardware? How can they guarantee that? What if they cannot afford to pay for their hardware or operating costs? What if it breaks? What if they need to upgrade because it becomes obsolete?
They promise something that they will not keep and the software they run is open source.
If your GPU can run Iray in DAZ it can probaly run stable diffusion. For free:https://github.com/CompVis/stable-diffusion
https://huggingface.co/CompVis/stable-diffusion-v1-4
https://huggingface.co/runwayml/stable-diffusion-v1-5There are even FOSS installers & user interfaces available:
https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui
https://github.com/Sygil-Dev/sygil-webui
https://github.com/AbdBarho/stable-diffusion-webui-dockerI suggest to remove this ad. It does not shine a good light on this site.

Thank you for writing your post regarding A pirate site, upset that AI is "stealing" an art style. You saved me a bunch of typing.
November 11, 2022 at 4:59 PM #1888853@sacredsandal I think I am clear about why I put this here ...
Again let me clarify again.
Disclaimer: I will get fees if you join through my link. => LIMITED TIME LIFETIME DEAL
I need funds to run the site lol 😛 And thanks to those guys who buy through my link 😀I bought the tools a year back then it was like 80$ maybe ... and with coupon, I get it for 65 or 70$, maybe.
And their lifetime deal price is increasing monthly. Also same time others offer same kind of tools lifetime deals stop offering lifetime long ago.
Another thing ... they just add stable diffusion now. As they offer unlimited open AI requests... I think soon they will add open AI Dall-E.
If so, you don't need to pay for Dall-e which needs money to use.But it all depends on what a person needs.

OK I get it, but...Y'all know StableDiffusion is FOSS, right? Even if you can't run an instance on your machine, there's many hosts out there with various frontends, many different training sets, and many are filter-disabled.
@hunter: StableDiffusion > DALL-E any day. DALL-E is a step backward... and proprietary. You currently need to apply for a tester's seat to use it.I too have fallen down the AI rabbit hole...

November 13, 2022 at 8:12 AM #1889542Mic drop reply there @KonoDioDa and it was great. I put my art through Stable Diffusion to get variations and "fill in" items to see if it's something I like. It often cuts a lot of photoshop work out by filtering the image in creative ways.
November 14, 2022 at 8:59 AM #1889954I'm actually inpainting some of my drawings, upscaling them, photoshopping, sending them as init, etc. Might actually post some of the things I get this week but for variation of your own works is stunning.
November 16, 2022 at 3:53 AM #1890756There are several other sites or you can install it locally. I like to render my own image and feed it into the program as a source with about 10% variance. It can give you little details that are a pain in the ass, such as normal imperfections you don't want to think about. Why worry about finding a blood overlay when you can use the text commands for the AI to fill it in? The higher you increase the variance the more divorced from the source image. I even fed a selfie into it with mid-variance and got to laugh at the results. AI is great for fun and it does make decent guided art. I doubt it will ever be able to replace human artists who make specific works with detailed customizations. Royo et all have nothing to worry about.
November 20, 2022 at 2:44 AM #1892375I have stable diffusion, with Automatic1111's webui plus tons of models loaded onto my home PC and, tbh, none of these images are any better than what I am producing on my own home PC with for free with the right positive prompts, negative prompts, hypernetworks, and other settings. Hell, they eve have Stable Diffusion branches that can be run on 8GB video memory or less. Some were even made that will use AMD cards.
Now as for this replacing art, not going to happen. What this is going to do is create a class of people who know how to write prompts and pick the right models then call themselves artists. I can pump out hundreds of "unique art" using these tools an hour.
In fact, after reading this I simply opened some of your images in img2img, ran interrogate to get keywords and used img2img to make these using the interrogated text to create new "art" using some custom checkpoints I merged.
Is it art? I would disagree.
Here's a link to an automatic installer for an older version of automatic1111's branch.

November 22, 2022 at 6:24 PM #1893325AI will do to art what the cellphone did to photography
November 22, 2022 at 10:53 PM #1893388Absolutely nothing. Not even the best cellphone can take a picture as good as a quality 35mm film or DLSR. Cellphones are the Polaroids of this age.
November 23, 2022 at 8:43 AM #1893467I have what I consider an entry level setup. $1K and $3k cameras. a few midrange lenses. Think my most expensive lens was $1.8k all sitting in a closet. I always have my phone on me.
I tried carrying a nice Point + Shoot but always seem to forget it.Most people do not blow-up pictures for billboards and I can't remember the last time I've seen anything bigger than an 8x10 in someone's home. They show pics of their wedding and children on Facebook or on a screen the size of a large wallet.
I rarely see anyone with an SLR when I'm on vacation. Maybe 1 out of 500 people, possibly you'll see a couple people with Point + Shoots. If you think the cellphone camera hasn't affected photography, I believe you're mistaken. While not on par with professional cameras they do a fine job for most aspects of life. I've got plenty of video from my phone that looks acceptable for home movies.
Specs for the new iPhone
"Not only do you get 4K resolution, 60fps and 10-bit HDR video capture as you did with the 13s, you now get a wider ISO range for better low-light capture and a new Action Mode that does an amazing job as image stabilization" I'm not going to be shooting movies for ILM and don't need a professional for my kids first birthday. They are a far cry from a polaroid.Sports, bird watching ect.. sure, there will be things most phones can't do (for now) but in almost every aspect of daily life the professional camera is dead. Same thing with everything being overtaken by technology. You don't need physical media to play videogames, music, movies or even read. People rarely print photos as much since their life is stored on a computer.
Now you don't even need skill, talent or knowledge to make art. Just type in a few words and the computer will do it for you. Software is to the point where it will even compose and edit a poor image for you.
November 23, 2022 at 10:46 PM #1893712iPhone 14, $800.
My DSLR Canon Eos Rebel T7 with 18-55mm and 75-300mm Lenses, $600 with APS-C CMOS sensor and DIGIC 4+ image processor, native sensitivity range from ISO 100-6400, built-in Wi-Fi with NFC, output in wide gamut RAW format. Sure, it can't make phone calls, but I guarantee the picture resolution is much better. So compared to that, even the iPhone with "4k" is still a Polaroid.
As for "Now you don’t even need skill, talent or knowledge to make art. Just type in a few words and the computer will do it for you." Sorry, I disagree. That isn't art. That's just figuring out the right prompt to put in.
I stuck a prompt in SD yesterday and sat down to watch some TV while I let it spit out 250 images. Is this art? Nope, just one of about 50 really nice ones out of the random batch.
November 24, 2022 at 1:07 AM #1893737My phone fits perfectly in my pocket.
I've never felt uncomfortable after carrying it for 8 hours. Never worried if my settings were right or if I had the right lens. Has always been quicker to get ready when stored. Is it better? Only if you count conveyance as a primary feature.
Oddly I've been placed cameras aren't allowed but phones are. I take both on trips but only take the camera when I know I'm going to be photographing. I lost count of the times I used the phone when I didn't have a "real" camera with me. Do you use your phone for pictures ever? Not sure if you're agreeing or disagreeing with me about AI art. Technically it is art. It's art made by a computer taking commissions. It's not and never will be your art. It's not really even your ideas. It's a kitbash of others ideas found by an AI and assembled. If you were to personally cut and paste a collage of others work it would be more of your art than this is. I actually like the results I've gotten but felt no personal attachment to the work and am puzzled by anyone that does. "Hey look I typed in some cool ideas and a computer painted this for me." Is not much different than telling an artist what you want in a commission and having them interpret it into their style. "He look I told this guy on DA to create this for me." It may be your idea but it isn't your art.
TBH, DAZ is almost in this category.
November 24, 2022 at 3:04 PM #1893931"TBH, DAZ is almost in this category."
I disagree. You can't just load a model, type in a few words and "POOM!" out comes an image.
November 25, 2022 at 1:49 AM #1894070Weird. Some of the pictures you show have a footnote "DALL-E".
Are they using DALL-E API and take money as a middleman? What happens when they run out of DALL-E credits? "lifetime" ends? -
