Is it possible to have different DAZ Studio versions available for download here ?

4.9.0.63
4.9.1.3Me and many other users find that using 4.9.4.117 is glitchy, much because Error PostgreSQL.
Earlier version then 4.9.4.117 did not have this error for me, now DAZ is useless
And yes, I have uninstall and reinstall several times, maybe bugs in "PostgreSQL....".
(I have read suggestion of different solutions, but nothing helps)Best regards

i have a 3.1 some where on one of my older xp computersYeah, I think it is usefull to have different DAZ versions available here for download.
Sooner or later, a HDD breakdown happens or moving softwares to another Harddisk, then it is good to get a clean DAZ software here, (to many viruses in torretnts).
Suggestion is to write version and 32bit or 64bit in file name

if that can help.Without the serial key Daz Studio will fall to "Standard Edition" which does not have Iray and some other plugins will not work. I believe the download is exactly the same, the plugins are just not activated. Once you find a serial, it will upgrade to "Pro" and the plugins should work.
I can't believe that Daz refuses to maintain their older versions or offer a roll back option. That's pretty messed up.
@BamBoozler90 - That's because DAZ wants everyone to upgrade to the latest and greatest everytime they upgrade the sofware, weither you want to or not. They are not like Poser which is happy to run multible versions side by side. It can be frustrating. More so when the system you want to run it on just can not handle the latest version, or just do not want all of th bells and whistles of the latest version. But it is also understandable in one sense. If they keep ALL versions avaible, or even just 4.5x and better, they would also have to keep all the different plug-ins for each version avaible has well, taking up storage space and then they have to keep the all the different versions of each and every plug-in which has specific version requirments online has well, seperated and id'ed for their specific versions.
Found some old versions Here but although it says I'm downloading at 1.5Mbps it's taking forever, losing packets.

I am in the process of uploading v4.8.0.59 (Windows only) and v4.9.4.122 (latest has of this posting, both Windows and MAC). I can also go ahead and upload v4.9.4.117 (Windows only).
I'm still searching for my other copies of v4.9 has well has my 4.7.x & 4.6.x in case they are wanted.

Oh I know that's why they do it, but it does not make it right. Especially if the new version bugs out, the user has little recourse. They don't need to make plugins work with every version if it is a new plugin, but they have updated plugins in the past and completely erased the previous version. I once accidentally upgraded a plugin by mistake, and it stopped working. I asked support for the previous version of that plugin, and they couldn't even find it (seriously, that was what they said.) That's retarded, and anti-consumer as it gets. And its a big reason I'm here. There are a lot of software out there, free and paid, that maintain their previous versions for at least a while.Storage is a non issue. These plugins are often in the kilobyte range, that's practically nothing. They could maintain those and the key main releases of Daz. Daz itself is smaller than most of the products they sell. They don't need every version, just key ones. They only had one version of 4.8 if I recall. They could keep a couple of versions of 4.9 since it has had several updates, and certainly they should always keep the previous full release on tap for people who have problems. Daz immediately removes the previous version the instant they release a new one, that is ridiculous. Even Microsoft doesn't do stuff like that.
@BAMBOOZLER90 - I remember when they did keep the older versions, at leas of the plug-ins. You had to ask fr them but they had them, but not anymore, it's why I no longer buy plug-ins, unless I can get them from somewhere else. (Although I have v4.9.4.x, I am using v4.8.) Had to delete a lot of items from my wish list.
I really like having multiable copies installed of different versions installed. It can com in handy. On my old system I had Poser 4, Poser 5, Poser 6, and Poser 7 all installed at once. On this system I just have Debut 10. I do not like how DAZ limits what versions you can have installed at once. One version of v1.x, one of 2.x, one of 3.x. I liked having the multible versions installed so I can try out the latest and make sure it's going to work right without losing the version I am currently using that does.
