    @Queensknight
Just tried both the Lying and Resting Poses[8.1 & convetted for G9].

Left click on 8.1 DS link - Anomize.
Left click on G9 [zone link to Thread]. Left on store link - Anomize.

Search does not find Modern Weapons 03 [?]
Modern Weapons Collection 1 does not have an active DS link - Rt click and 'go to' - straight to DS.

The Daz Studio Masterclass Part 2, active link, left click - anomize.

Well that's disturbing. If some people are getting the anonymized link and others are not--for the same item--that's going to give some people a false sense of security.

Chrome and Safari (Mac and iOS) just show me the raw url, but I see from the page code that the anonymizer is a JavaScript module that rewrites the url at the browser's end of things rather than at the server. In other words, the server issues the raw url to everyone, and it's up to whatever browser the client is using to decide whether to run the anonymizer script.

Anyone who has disabled JavaScript in their browser, for instance, would never get the anonymized links. Any filters that try to block "redirects" (e.g. from adware) would also block the anonymizer code from running. But most concerning of all is that the user is not given any indication of whether the link he is about to click on will take him to the raw url or the anonymized version.

You and I load the same page and get different links to click on--that's dangerous, and it's already gotten some people banned from certain vendor sites, and pissed off certain vendors enough to motivate the takedown notices that have shut down other users' hosting accounts. One small, subtle thing with a huge impact on all of us.

The anonymizer needs to be run at the server end, not the client end. The links need to be rewritten before the page is sent to the client, not left to the client's browser to decide. (@hunter: Maybe consider switching to the WP-HideRefer plugin?)

I agree with @hamster that not making those links clickable at all is a good interim solution, at least for non-ZoneGFX urls.

LP, you made me realise the reason I don't get linked through anonymizer is because I'm using the Brave browser. Anyway I always copy and paste the links into a fresh tab. I mainly use Brave because I can watch Youtube without all the stupid and annoying ads.

"Copy and paste the links into a fresh tab.."

That's what I was thinking... In the future don't allow members to use html/css coding to link.
Also, don't allow users to put a direct link to other websites.
I don't know if copying and pasting into the address bar is a workaround though.

Whoever is going around reporting posts is like pissing in a sea of piss. A pointless crusade when there are so many blogs, sites, forums, discords that specialize in asset sharing.

Let them spend their time pointlessly.

This is precisely the problem. And the entire reason one of the reasons for posting an original line of questioning about referers (referrers) before. For those of us who've scrubbed JAVA, and are using one or more adblockers, this site becomes direct-link-central, often completely without knowing. And subsequently increases the fully revealed from-Zone to-Host traffic (and potential red flags) exponentially. Only knowing/practicing the (as stated) copy/paste trick for such live links prevents the problem for such users; making any live link from Zone a danger, to the link-follower and to the community at large.

I don’t know if copying and pasting into the address bar is a workaround though.

I believe it is. As far as I know, this is a ‘fresh’ URL and doesn’t contain any referrer information such as where you’re coming from. I’ve done this for years.

    It is.
After posting/asking previous, scratching the surface was all it took for me to switch up "best-practices". You can test referer (referrer) header results yourself from/to any page. You can go through the rigamarole of Element Inspecting, or (in most cases) depending on the browser you're using, you can simply locate the page info dialogue. (In FF it's under Tools>Page Info.) "Referring URL" is presented as one of the lines on the first, General tab. If it's there, and a URL is listed, you're visible, and tracked from wherever it says you came from. If this line is not present on this tab, it is not present in the header data sent. That is, clean anonymous link.
    This means:
    - You visited this page directly (copy/pasted to address, right-click-followed from UN-LIVE/text link*, or followed link from a saved shortcut).
    - You are using a browser extension which hides your referrers. (Depending on the browser, you can also edit your config yourself to block referrer forwarding and - theoretically - return to natural link-following.) [Still testing this, personally, with so far mixed results. May start separate thread later.] [Update: By setting "network.http.sendRefererHeader" to 0 (instead of 1), as found here, all referer traffic seems to be truly halted, both domain-to-domain and intra-domain. FF browsers only.]
    - The website you came from isn't sharing referrers. (And, btw, agreed. Without trying to overload admin, this would be a really wise commitment. Regardless of individual user best-practices or encouragements it would assure a next-level safety.)
[EDIT:] - Or, you're in the first camp, have JAVA and a non-breaking ad-blocker (or none - not an option for me, on any site), and anonymizer is working for you.

*Note: Right-click-following LIVE LINKS, whether in same or separate tab, will still always forward referer data to destination site for the herein described users (i.e. no-JAVA, with ad-blocker(s), and/or other potential combinations of anonymizer-breaking modes). (Unless, of course, you're using a referer-blocking add-on, or config edit.) You can test this/these scenarios yourself with the above method(s).
I, for one, since knowing/discovering, will no longer include live links in my posts (whether blog or forum) to the main sites of concern. (Only wish could edit already blog-posted.) I'll mark them (e.g. with brackets, as others have started doing) to break them, forcing a copy/paste or right-click-UN-live follow. I can do best-practices all day, but between OSes, and browsers, there are just too many scenarios that break anonymizers, leaving links wide open to the unsuspecting.

If anyone has tried to download things I posted and the link was dead, I've submitted new links for almost every dead download link I was notified about so far.

What is the best alternative to Mega ?

Mediafire, gofile.io, mixdrop.co, up2sha.re ... Those four work very nicely from the downloader's end, and appear to not be too bothersome to get accounts on for uploading. There's lots of others, but I haven't looked too much into them.

(for the love of all that is good, avoid crap like FileJoker, Keep2Share, Uploaded, EuropeUp, or any of those other garbage 'premium' d/l sites. Those places quite simply suck ass.)

It's mostly a paid site ? only 5gb for free ? not really worth it to me.

I'm looking for something with lots of free storage and safe.

I removed part of my comment too many prying eyes.

web3.storage gave me a lot more than 5GB free when I signed up even though it said 5 GB. I have about 1TB of storage available for free.

"I wonder if the same thing would happen to them as what’s going on with Mega."

Too many factors to say - hosting country's IP laws (if the hosting country even bothers to participate in the Berne Convention), accessibility, how well known they are, how they are funded, etc.

There used to be a real awesome host called Nopy, but they died because of an insufficient revenue model, so they quite simply ran out of money to keep going.
