I'm not so sure about that. I copied and looked at the link for my last share and it just has a straight path to Mega. In fact I haven't seen the anonymizer thing pop up for at least 6 maybe 9 months.

That could well be happening, but we don't know for sure. I do know that all my infringements came from the same legal sounding Portuguese email. All targeting daz3d uploads. Some strike downs in September, the rest a couple of days ago when they took down every post I made in miniutes.

In my opinion the best defence now is to be using multiple free accounts, VPNs, and untraceable email addresses so they can't takedown more than a few uploads, that won't be more than a minor inconvenience to put straight back up.

No doubt the big brains in the community will work out what has been going on.

One of my Mega accounts was recently suspended because of repeat copyright strike offenses. I'll just have to take 30 seconds and make another free email account and sign up for a new mega account to have a place to store content.

I guess a some of my downloads won't work now. I just have to figure out what ones.

@RuinedClaw Mine were the caralegalvoltou person also. The unusual thing is in Portuguese that translates to "Nice Guy Returned." It almost makes me wonder if its either a generical email for a copyright protection service or if its just one person filing takedown notices for everything they get access to because they have something against the site or sharing the files.

As far as I can recall, almost everything goes through the Anamizer route. Very occasionally I have had the odd 'straight to the site' happen - and I mean VERY occasionally.
Usually it is to Rotica - and I do not recal this happening since at least the beginning of this year.
I always log in via Nord vpn [although I use Privado on another system - and am considering it as a replacement for general use].

I haven't any issues with mega, but I have multiple mega accounts. It is quite easy to set up another if my current one gets full. Also buying using chrome, I can switch between accounts very easy. I do have lots of stuff that I'm yet to upload, as sometimes I wait a week or two before I upload it.

Just use an alternative free site for now if you still want to post on the blog. I’ve had no problems since moving from mega. Don’t let him win!

The anonymizer does not seem to be enabled (or functional) these days; it may not have been turned on again after the maintenance that was performed during the summer. If you check any recent blog post you'll see the source site links that appear in blog posts are straight-through, no redirection.

My mega account has been taken down now. There was about 300-400ish uploads on there… A little bit of a blow to the site. All this cara legal voltou person.

Wow! I've got nowhere near that sort of number but I use multiple Mega accounts created using online temporary email sites. I put up a dozen or so files then move to another as I'd never want to be in your position.

Goood luck with all those reposts.

Yeah, I didn't understand the danger. I was a memeber of 3d stuff for years which hosted things differently, never had a take down issue once. I left because only myself and one other guy posted content not leached from here, and the whole planting malware in their shares debacle. Scum bags.

Reup loading's not that much of a hassle, the mods have asked me to limit my uploads to 15 a day anyway.

The guys trying to take down the site seem to be limited to taking down our postimages pictures. So that progress I guess.

    Hi,
    I have just tried several product links and the following happens;

If the link is not hihlighted [highlight and right click to select 'go to'] then it goes straight to the product page.
    However-
If the link is 'active' i.e. highlighted, left click on it and it goes to Anomize 1st. [same with 'active' links in request threads]

Hmmm. Can you point to one example post I can check? Every recent post I've checked goes straight to the source url, no redirection. The "Lying and Resting Poses" post, the "Modern Weapons 03" post for two examples. The source links are both clickable and both produce links to daz3d.com. Viewing the page source, the A HREF only shows the daz3d.com link. What do you get when you check these two (randomly chosen) posts?

The anonymizer has a rather weird behavior. I use two different computers to go here: A linux laptop and a Win10 desktop, both with firefox. On the first one, any link here is either unclickable or lead to the anonymizer, on the second one, all links are clickable and directly lead to the target. And this behavior exists for a couple of years (before all was directly clickable in either computer).

IMO the best would be to make *NO* link clickable. People would have to select>RClick>open_link and that would insure a perfect lack of referrer in the http request without the need of an anonymizer.
