Hello Everyone,
I'm excited to get started on this forum and explore the world of online competitions for digital art. I've been creating digital art to earn a few years now, and I'm now prepared to enter competitions with my creations. But I could do with a little guidance from individuals like you with more experience.
I'd appreciate your advice in the following areas:
Selecting the Appropriate Contest: Selecting the best competition can be overwhelming with so many to select from. Are there any particular contests that are especially well-liked or accessible to beginners in the world of digital art?
Concept Interpretation: How do you tackle understanding and adhering to the concept of the competition? How can one strike a balance between the need to be creative and the brief's requirements?
Best Practices for Tech: Which technical details should I focus on the most when getting ready to submit my artwork? Are there typical mistakes to stay away from, particularly when it comes to file types, screen proposals, and colour profiles?
Presentation and Significance: What techniques do you employ to make sure that, in a crowded field, your artwork is noticed? Any suggestions on characteristics that judges typically favour, colour schemes, or composition?
Criticism and Improvement: How do you respond to critical criticism from competitions? I would highly welcome any advice on how to analyse and implement feedback since I want to make most of this experience to develop myself as an artist.
Materials and Equipment: Are there any essential materials or equipment that have really aided you in your competition preparation? These could be communities, online guides, or software.

With the comp I ran everyone got a share of the points because it isn't all about winning first place. Remember the "winning" entries are only subjective and based on the tastes of the judge, so not winning shouldn't be taken personally as a rejection of your entry's artistic worth. As I mentioned in the main thread make sure you state which theme your entry is in and also which software you used. Some write a brief synopsis about their image to provide context. Presentation - it's also a good idea to provide a direct link to the full size image in all its glory.
