I'm not sure if this is the right place to post images, if not please let me know. I find a group for posting stuff but because the image is not showing no discussions are happen.
Here's a Render i'm verr happy with. Minimal postwork (Makeup(white Lines) psd exposure to lighten it up a bit.
Its Genesis 8 with Genesis 3 Textures from Kaela. Used Tons of morphs for the Shape. Hair is
3dUniverse Paige with some Photoshop Brushes in post.I added some extra Textures and used also peach Fuzz Hair.
Questions and real Critique are always welcome!
May 18, 2018 at 4:07 PM #609289Art Showcase is the best place to post.
Looks great. Ill need to recheck it later on a bigger screen.
May 18, 2018 at 4:15 PM #609298That's a pretty big picture ! O.o
Just out of curiosity, what was your rendering setting for the render of this picture ?
Also, did you made the lighting yourself or you used some pre-made lighting ressource ? What did you use ?
May 18, 2018 at 11:11 PM #609585nice. big! but nice.
May 19, 2018 at 4:12 AM #609794Um. WOW. That's spectacular! I absolutely love it.
May 19, 2018 at 4:14 AM #609797What kind of post work on the hair? It looks great, just curious how much you did. I want to learn how to do that.

There's not much postwork on the Hair. Just some strokes with photoshop with my wacom tablet. Painting bright thin lines does the trick. With the Wacom Tablet and brush dynamics its very easy to draw nice hair lines. Always change the color of the strokes for a realistic variation.
May 20, 2018 at 3:58 AM #611038There's nothing special for the RenderSettings just a Big 4000x4000Resolution.
For the light i used a HDRI of https://zonegfx.com/x-xtreme-hdri-studio-lights
i decreased the intensity of the Light Map because i used also some mesh/rim Lights.
Then i made 3 Rim Lights. When using Rim and mesh lights i always use the Lights from Colm Jackson "Render Studio"
https://zonegfx.com/colm-jackson-lights-renders-studio-scenes/"I Don't use his presets but the mesh and rim lights. Most of the time i just dublicate 1 light and change the position and the settings for it.
A strong small light is giving hard shadows and a big light far away is giving a smoother light. CHeck out the diffrent mesh and rim lights. They are very handy!THen i added also another mesh light..for this i made a very thin but high plane primitive and enabled the emission in the surface settings.
This gives another nice outline light to define her face. Here's a printscreen of my scene with the

For the Skin i used https://zonegfx.com/kalea-7-pro-bundletexturesbut i added some extra textures.
For Working with textures i use https://drive.google.com/file/d/13TuGn2yQ4yGx6Dve-A9_Hhl9yHS7vCcl/view?usp=sharing Allegorithmics Bitmap2Material
I used https://zonegfx.com/altern8-skin-shader-system-for-genesis-8 It's a good product for make nice SSS.
With Skin i always start with a good skin texture like the Kalea one, then applying Altern8 Settings for the SSS, or https://zonegfx.com/tag/3d-shaders-utility-resource
This is then a good starting point. SKin always needs some tweaks or extra textures to look best.OFten i do alot postwork but in this Render i only painted some Hairs and the Facepainting.
Here's the Original Render

vs the Final work:I hope this helped you.
Cheers
May 20, 2018 at 8:25 AM #611239Wow! She looks amazing, I love her!

Cool that's the goal of such posts!
May 21, 2018 at 1:06 AM #612219Very nice. I like the break down of the process. Looks like a lot of work went into post. You didn't burn the skin or highlight the stones?
May 21, 2018 at 7:26 PM #613114No there's not much work in post. Most of the time i do lot more but on this one it was not alot.
The Render was a bit too dark so i increased the exposure in photoshop and a bit more saturation.
Jess i painted over the stones and some similar parts to fit the turkis color of the image. And on the left side (of our view) i decreased the highlight of the sidelight a bit....i don't remeber how i did.
I increased the eyes iris contrast a bit.
And in the end i made this pseude depht of view in photoshop.
Thats it
May 23, 2018 at 12:23 PM #615020It's a great render, the only thing I would change is the dermal piercings. You've got a very tribal look going on and I think the piercings detract from it.
May 24, 2018 at 7:39 PM #616652Good call Evilmonkey. Id replace it with paint, scaring or tats if more flavor is needed. But I think it would hold out nicely with none of those.
