eh, true. i just think that there was heavy crunch prior to launch which had very little QA
June 4, 2026 at 3:17 PM #2176719Obviously, the AI functionality was added so that they can justify it as an additional recurring cost and charge for it, either independently or as a value added service to their existing membership plans.
June 4, 2026 at 10:57 PM #2176732So I take it there are no new base figures then?
June 5, 2026 at 2:19 AM #2176748nope.
June 5, 2026 at 8:36 AM #2176781The usual all wind & no substance. :0/
June 5, 2026 at 9:35 AM #2176785I'm more concerned about whether if all existing scripts/products that rely on scripts would work in DS6 or not. Things like Look at Me II, Pose Details are very handy tools and I need to know whether if everything works before even trying to move to DS6
June 5, 2026 at 9:48 AM #2176789Aight they still haven't fully fixed display scaling properly.

The universal DrawStyle mode has proper scaling while IRay render mode is still jagged and pixelated, when displayed on a 4K monitor with 150% scaling. I don't understand why they're half-assing the scaling fixes. Either that or, they didn't even attempt to fix it at all, and the reason why some scalings are made proper now is simply due to the Qt migration from v4 to v6.
June 5, 2026 at 11:10 AM #2176800I think the scripts and plugins need to be done again before they can be used in DS6. There are a number that I like to use, which aren't working.
June 5, 2026 at 12:14 PM #21768112028, it is then..
June 5, 2026 at 12:18 PM #2176812Think ill pass on it for now, as expected an underwhelming half baked release.
June 5, 2026 at 3:53 PM #2176821I'm using Daz Studio 6 and so far except for an issue with the Spline Editor I'm finding 6 VERY snappy. G9 poses load 50X faster (exaggeration), Super fast strand based hair loading, better looking texture shaded viewport, and faster asset loading. Just a few things I've noticed in the first 24 hours of use. As far as using scripts I haven't tested any yet so people wondering about that I have nothing in that field.
To me the update is worth it. I guess that's a sentiment in the minority here though so don't come after me with pitchforks please.
June 5, 2026 at 4:29 PM #2176823I heard that you can use it along side with the good old daz 4 so it might worth a try I guess
June 5, 2026 at 10:32 PM #2176842real talk - thinking of 5070ti or 5080 - anyone using that can advise?
June 6, 2026 at 10:36 AM #2176903As has been said earlier, it is very problematic if plug ins don't work with it.
I wouldn't be surprised at this point, with it being a fresh release.
June 6, 2026 at 11:29 AM #2176905I think I read on Daz that plug ins and scripts will need to be updated by org Artist to work in 6 .
