It may be that certain people are bothered by a nude or something "porn". But I think we are old enough to assume images of a nude. Putting a post with "images for people over 18", or "Adult content", seems to me to be hypocritical. We all fuck, or jerk off. Let's be honest. I don't like wasting time to see something "hidden", so that I don't like it. (Not for its explicit image, but for not using it in my work).
We’d like to assume that we are all adults, but there are definitely members of the community that we suspect are minors.
I am seriously laughing my ass off that someone compares the "heroic nudes" by artists like DaVinci to the nudity in renderotica.
And by the way, you hire a painter when you do a remodel. When you want to speak intelligibly about artists, you call them such.
I'm protest against your request. This is not a porn site and I don't want to see mature content in the main page. When you post some picture on the forum, the picture appearing on the main site. So don't post them.
I think it's perfectly reasonable to want the "hey, this is porn" images in place of the nudes. I'm not even going to appeal to "they did it in other contexts" or anything like that, I just think it's a reasonable thing. Some people might browse where they don't want it to be obvious to others looking over their shoulders (bosses, spouses, children, etc.) that they're looking at a thing that gives a G8 figure 19 breasts and a snake-penis.
Most things on most stores are pretty acceptable for general consumption, but it makes sense to create a bit of an opt-in to keep the site maximally useful for the largest number of people.
This can be easily done with a simple adult filter in the profile, but it needs to be done and I don't know if Hunter wants to bother with it.
What if "adult content" had its own category and did not appear in the main blog? That would be one way people could opt in, by going to a specific section to find that material?
I don't mind nudes, if done tastefully. Not the "artistic" ways some use daz studio for. They all look like plastic, they all or mostly have the same pose, impossible high heels and all that shit. Nude for artistic sake yes, nude to fill a fetish, no thanks.
@Abad, weren't you the same, that compared nudes from the olden days to the shit we have around now ?? Those nudes i like, that is classic art. What we have around now is disrespectful, distasteful and has nothing to do with art.
It was just a mistake from my side, the rules of the site are clear, i just was a bit to fast with posting something to share with everyone else here. It seems to be fixed right now. Besides my mistake everyone has there own taste and what they like and dont like, so hope we can all give each other the space to have there own way of thoughts. Hope you all at least like my post and are able to make something nice out of it, maybe even better when people who like the prop can share the render with all of us, just one advice, dont make the same mistake as me or there will be a full thread about it 😀
