So I transfer a morph to G8 from V4 in a round about way. Probably about 90 percent accurate.
So when trying clothes, the clothes will not follow the morph. The clothing follows other morphs but not this one. Is this something built into the data of the morph. If my V4 morph does nothing but alter G8s shape why wouldnt the clothing follow the shape?
February 20, 2019 at 10:42 PM #968947It might work better if you finish with the morphing & then autofit to the modified character. There is a V4 clone about.
🙂February 20, 2019 at 11:10 PM #968982I first applied the morph then dropped the clothing on but it didnt fit. I then tried the clothes on base G8 then applied the morph same issue. Ill try and see if I can mess around with v4 clone. Thanks
February 21, 2019 at 4:35 AM #969268Tried to put on G3 clothing and conform to both G8 and V4 clones.
Tried to set G8 as a V4 clone under hidden clones.
tried to set G8 to V4 as a morph.
Clothes will parent to G8 but will fit very loose and will not conform at all. It retains the shape of the basic clothes template and when morphed it will morph to normal G8 morphs but not the V4 morph I added. The character itself body shape morphs fine but the clothing will not follow the shape.
Not really all that important but it would be nice to be able to figure out.
February 27, 2019 at 1:02 AM #976697My final outcome was to only use no more that 30% of the morph. I still got some of the shape without the clothing fitting weird. The GND shape I think is just to much for G8 to handle in a transfer. The face would never transfer correctly. I didnt really expect a 100% working morph since they are different but I did think it would work better than it has.
February 28, 2019 at 4:51 PM #978784the cloth is not following the morph, because you did not save it. You need to save the morph via Save as -> Support Asset -> Morph Asset there you only select your V4 Morph. Reload the scene and voila, your morph will als morph the clothes. Before saving, zero the morph, if not it coud happen your morph will be active with every G8F load 😉 Oh and before saving the morph. If it's an extrem morph, don't forget to adjust rigging to shape. Let me know if you need help here
