@gaver lovely composition and render! Really love the contrast.

I would try playing with different textures for the fan (maybe darker?) to get the best balance in the pic as it seems a bit overexposed and therefore a bit distracting. Otherwise, gorgeous character!

As Frank21, I'm a poor little "amateur" who takes pleasure in "creating".
We all would do our best with our own abilities, as for our own pleasure.
As for painting, I never liked anyone trying to explain why a painting is great or not.
I like it or not, I feel moved or not.
I take advise as it comes, and always thanks who gives, so long it is techincal one and can help me to inprove myself.

By the way, i do like this "geisha" picture, it is a good work and pretty nice creation.
