@d0gg0d , sorry bro, I'm not really understanding your post, however;
if you saw the movie AFTER it was released to the public, and you obtained it illegally, such as downloading for free on the internet, then it would be considered pirated.
August 11, 2019 at 7:52 PM #1198682Sometimes I just want a specific hair style or specific clothing and usually its not to be found. I can spend a lot of time searching for similar, but then its usually an older item and/or for the opposite sex, which then presents fitting issues along with movement and adjustment issues. Like doing barbarians with long hair that doesn't look girly.
Has anyone noticed that most of the medieval and scifi warriors don't have weapons belts, scabbarbs, holsters? They just seem to walk around around carrying their swords and pistols in their hands all day and night. And I don't recall but one or 2 hand guns with holsters, and rarely any sword or medieval weapons packs with scabbards or belts.Wow.. Talk about off topic. Sorry @deepedia/
August 11, 2019 at 8:01 PM #1198694Sorry to maintain the off-topic, but nice rant @drgnmztr !
I love 'em, It doesn't matter if I am the ranter or rantee, I still get a kick out of them. That puts me in mind of another arguably related issue.
The far too frequent dual weilding of both blades & firearms.
IMO the only way that is going to be effective is if you happen to have two heads,
One to look at the target of each weapon.
:0/August 11, 2019 at 8:11 PM #1198714@eelgoo/ hee hee, maybe it was a little rant, but I have characters that don't fight all the time and you have to have your hands free for wine and women with your weapon at your side. LOL
Only the uber badasses wield sword and projectile weapons simultaneously. 😉
August 12, 2019 at 4:09 AM #1199101Guy walks into a pawn shop dual wielding pistols.
Guy behind counter grabs a hidden 1911 and drops him dead in one shot.I see no reason to use 2 pistols unless youve practices a lot with your off hand. I have messed around with wielding 2 bladed weapons and if you rely on maneuverability over using a bulky shield it has some merit.
August 12, 2019 at 4:15 AM #1199107in reality, dual wielding a pistol is a mistakes, without a strong arm and lot of training, it's practically trading your whole accuracy just to look cool because there a things called recoil
August 13, 2019 at 2:20 PM #1201016@deepedia agreed
wielding dual hand guns is a look cool in a movie thing just like that stupid pistol on its side gangster crap.2 bladed weapons are completely practical however.
August 13, 2019 at 3:25 PM #1201086Dual wielding pistols is not necessarily bad, but if you're aiming in two different directions you at least need to keep a somewhat 45 degree stance, as that is about the widest you can keep focus on multiple things with your eyes. However, accuracy isn't necessarily the most important thing. People will normally duck fucking fast if bullets fly in their general direction - so you can relatively easily contain a larger room with dual pistols (maybe). However, even one pistol will stop most people.
As for recoil... that is completely dependant on your muscle strength, and type of gun. There are plenty of guns that won't give much recoil at all. Put a submachinegun there, for instance. Next to no recoil. No accuracy either, but hey. Tradeoffs 😀
August 13, 2019 at 5:00 PM #1201206Yeah... but who needs accuracy when you're using a shower of bullets...:-D
August 13, 2019 at 6:13 PM #1201274Everything is situational. Sniper with a scope at 500 yards vs a grunt with an AK and iron sights.
Room full of armed people or a room full if victims.
Rifle vs pistol, cover or barren, backup or solo.
Distant vs close, known or unknown variables.Best set up IMHO is a mid range rifle a good backup pistol and a combat knife. Thats what most soldier carry and if it were a totally urban environment Id trade the rifle for an SBR or possibly a combat shotgun.
Rifle is normally good out to a 500+ yards. More than most people can see or shoot. Shotgun probably 100 yards max. Same with Pistol. If youre over 100 yards you should be using a rifle. Knife within 10 ft or so, depends on situation.
Mostly based on my ability with guns. I shoot about once a month. I know very little about knife combat other than 10ft rule. There are not many situations a pistol is better than a rifle other than daily carry and concealment.
"Normally" 1 shot from a military caliber rifle is enough to remove most people from further action.August 14, 2019 at 12:12 AM #1201640 -
