    @frank22

    I remember seeing renders you did for a visual novel, you what a vn is all about. Is SD a good fit? Is it possible to inpaint clothing? What about consistent lighting? I'm really interested. If there's a way to make things easier than fighting with Daz I would love to use SD.

    @ethiopia

    Would like to see some renders bud 🙂

    Unfortunately no. I don't see SD in its current form useful for making VNs as it's way too capricious. It may well develop to the stage where the user has more control, and I'm pretty sure it eventually will.

    Ahhh that's too bad. I hope so. Will make for some very spectacular VNs 🙂

    I'm quite happy with daz - been using it now for over 4 years. Looked at blender (never really bothered to use it much for my art). Also looked at SD - but happy with daz3d.

    One thing I like to do with daz3d - is modify poses and make presets for myself. I have over 100 that I use. Some of them are from other poses and some original ones I have made.

    Choosing software is like comparing fruit.

    What works best for you depends on what you want to do, and how you want to do it.

    DAZ is a good choice for beginners and yes they can be exported to cc or iclone. But if you want quality, then Blender is a great choice but the learning curve is quite steep (saying this from experience)
